It should be fine. Texture mods do not affect desyncs, and the models tag is misleading: it actually affects a few particle systems which do not seem to be able to cause desyncs either. For some reason the workshop decides to tag it with models anyway.

Because this mod affects models and textures - does this mean it will not be compatible with MP due to desync issues?

I don't know anything about the butterflies, sorry. The other PRT that I can think of which doesn't want to show up is the ceasefire dove one, but besides making the observation that the appearance is set to a BRG (like the locusts) I didn't get very far with that.

@Loggy
Is this the same problem as for the butterflies that need to fly around Gaia at least in the vanilla version? I've tried editing the .prt/.brg's themself but no result. Could you take a look at those loggy?
Great find!

Interesting. Well, you had a good result with these particles.

I did this back last time I was messing with the locust textures. I seem to remember that changing the PRTs didn't fix the issue, suggesting that it's the result of the locust model itself. But why, I have no idea...

I turned the default locust textures transparent. A bit of messing around with those textures showed that they were indeed what was getting stuck to the camera (I turned them purple, and sure enough the camera mess went purple too), I'm not sure exactly why they decide to stick to the camera but it should get around the issue nicely.

I don't know why underworld also causes it sometime though, but I'm unable to reproduce that whereas the locust one was really quite easy.

How did you manage to fix the "stuck to camera" bug? What was causing it?
