If you batch export all the SVG images from the VASSAL module to PNG with something like ImageMagick, you'll get much nicer looking cards. Also looks like you created this before I fixed an error in the module ( Copernicus should be a Turn 5 card as of the 2010 edition of the game, which I had missed for a long time until someone alerted me).

I own the board game and have played lots of games in the old wargameroom.com . I could possibly help with scripting.

I have made some improvements. Feel free to sub to my mod or whatever and update your own with my changes. There is some minor scripting.

The components for GMT and other games that use VASSAL original print quality images (in most cases) and the VASSAL modules are just large .zip files so you can get at the images by extracting the modules contents. So for games like Virgin Queen, Twilight Struggle, Labyrinth: The War on Terror, etc., you can make a pretty high quality mod. You can download the modules here:

Download a module, rename to .zip extension & then extract. Just an FYI if anybody is interested ...
