In the base game the mechanical sounds are still (as you said) as loud if not louder than the shot, though they have a bit more bass so that covers it up. Some of my audio is already clipping, so was i to turn it up not only would it be unbearably loud for the full duration of the shot, but it would be distorted to all hell.
99% chance it doesnt, allthough i may be able to do that given screaming steel supports it
Ive tried with most weapons, but quite litteraly all of them make this crackly high pitched sound. It sounds like dial up, completely replacing the gunshot
i mean, im trying to get every unit for all factions, i got all german units, just need the 2 african american units for the us, and the uk is kinda empty
