I went through all my mods one by one and this was the one causing the crash when starting a new campaign (it crashed after selecting a new campaign and while loading). Again, I have no clue as to why, but once I disabled this mod the campaign started just fine.

@sargatanus What did you isolate it to? I hope it is not a problem, because I won't be able to work on it for a while

Heads up: this mod now crashes the game when you start a new campaign. I don't know why or how (the log files weren't of any help), but I isolated it to this one.

Wait, so... this mod also immediately and automatically ranks you up to level 50? Is there no way to NOT be instantly OP? ....so much for any sense of progression to those massive fleets... there's always a catch 22 with these otherwise desirable mods... at least in this game.

wasn't working still, so removed the mod and redid everything which seemed to fix it

You have to add the line "CheatsEnabled: 1", without the quotes, to it yourself. That is why the F9 key is not working!

I found the config file but cheatsenabled isnt inside it. unless theres another one named the same?

It should be in the "Starpoint Gemini Warlords" folder in the StarpointGeminiWarlordsConfiguration.cfg file.

Im in the MaterialEditorConfiguration folder and i found cheatsenabled it says 1 already yet f9 does not work

You did add the "CheatsEnabled: 1" to your config file and have the mod enabled, right? I have just tried the Campaign and Titans Return and both of those were working fine.

The best way for you to complete your scripts is to go to Starpoint Gemini Warlords\Discussions at: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/419480/discussions/11/ and click "Start a New Discussion".
For "enter a title" write something like "Need help writing scripts for my mod". For "say something" enter one of your scripts and explain your problems with it. Later you can post more. Then next to "Post in:" select "Modding". Select "Subscribe to Forum" so you know when you get a response.

That is how I did it. This way you will get help from somebody that knows what they are doing. I am only learning and I don't think I would be of much help.

If people cant activate the F9 cheat add "CheatsEnabled: 1" (without quots) at the top of the "StarpointGeminiWarlordsConfiguration.cfg" file thats in the games directory should work afterwards. Cheers

That is the first time that I have heard of the enemy scaling with your resources. There are a lot of things I don't know. I do know that without resources you can't build a fleet or buy a decent ship for yourself. With my Helios3 mod, you gain substantial resources, but with it you can take out a lot of enemies. I find that to be enjoyable and I hope others do as well. Thank you for your interest and I hope you like this mod.

Oh and TY for this mod I will give it a try!

I do want to point out from hard earned experience that enemy fleet power and size scales directly wth your rescources. If you can update the mod by downscaling enemy fleet power to compansate for this it would make this mod a whole lot better. Or an identicle mod with this addiition would also be good. But i admit it might not be feasible time and management wise for you.

Are you using a US Keyboard? I am not sure if the the F9 key is the same on all keyboards, but they may be mapped differently. I will try to find out if I know which keyboard you are using.

I'm sorry to hear that. Check the "Starpoint Gemini Warlords\Mods\FleetPowerUp\Data\Scripts" folder and make sure that you have the file testScript.sal there. If you do, try moving FleetPowerUp to the top of your mod load order. If you don't have the scripts folder, try unsubscribing and subscribing again. Let me know what happens. It has always worked fine for me.
