the only thing i can think of is, that you have toget used to that, it takes a long time to mod map in eu iv it was around 60h of work for this map, also it is very easy to make the game crash with mapmodding so i reccomend using audax validator to chek what is wrong with it
also checking logs is important especially error log , and most importantly it is advised to use eu iv wiki for modding, it explains most things nicely

uh, i did it all in gimp, all apart from the "normal" map, i used some random generator on internet, and some of the maps need to be opened in paint.net or photoshop (which i don't have) instead.

Sorry for the resurrection of this old thread, but I have one question OP: I like to know with which tools you created the map? And do you have some tips too - especially for the 3D part of mapping?

Hey i have an idea, is there anyone willing to take this project from me (i am willing to give it away coz i've got so bored with eu iv modding and also will have ao time for next year). this means i will give you all files and permission to do anything (other than delete) with it. The "No culture" issue is fixed, will be updated soon

Although I'm in game with yokai culture, I reload a save game and I found the human culture is replaced with no culture.

I've noticed that when I reload a save game the human culture from all nations is replaced with no culture.

Maybe some chinese can be added

I have noticed that, when I start a game as one of the Touhou nations, I play it normaly and all, but then when I save and close the game to do whatever and start it again the Immortal trait of my leader is just gone, so they die almost instantly. Just wanted to leave that here and ask for a fix, since I really enjoy the mod, but this seems like a bug.
