oh nvm. i meant cubes as in building blocks.. panels.. the walls, they are basically large blocks of black metal ya know ? you can "count" your height buy counting the lines in the walls..
nvm anyway, i thought about it more and obviously my question is irrelevant.
crazy puzzle you got there. i JUST realised the angle panel beams the eye hahaha you sneaky you.. thats good

@Towelie Clegane I'm not sure I understand your question; jumping off of cubes, and certainly two cubes, is not necessary to solve this puzzle!

That ending is so cool wow, this honestly might be one of the best funnel + laser puzzles I've solved. Favourited for sure

One of the most satisfying and difficult puzzles I've played. I remember starting it over a year ago but at the time felt it was too difficult and always wanted to come back to it later with more experience. It's currently in my top 5 favorites now with such unique usage of test elements, amount of steps required, and amount of logical dead ends that really make you plan ahead.

Okay so, THIS map proved to be rather decent challenge. Of the 5 I randomly picked, this one took longer than all 4 others combined. For sure one of the most elaborate utilization of the funnelaser element I've seen. Favorited, and playthrough.

@PaleoBlue Fantastic work solving this one! This is a complex puzzle indeed. And yeah, the laser collision is quite annoying here. Luckily these days it is easy to disable so the player does not have to resort to the console themselves :]

Now this is a difficult map. Figuring out how to keep the ability to have portals in the room with the funnel was probably the most difficult part. I'm surprised I even solved this in the first place. Only complaint is that you have to use a console command for the optimal experience (multiple times if you use quicksaves, but you can't really stop that from resetting the command).

For some reason I have never left a comment on this map. This puzzle is one of my all-time favorite maps. I remember playing this for the first time when I was less experienced. I eventually gave up and watched the solution, however, I eventually came back to try to resolve it, which I managed to do. Great and unique ideas with absolutely outstanding logic. Goddamn masterpiece. Thank you very much :]

@Spider_Dawg This puzzle has a number of very subtle moves indeed. You figured out most of them by yourself - the one you got stuck on has proven to be the hardest to spot for most players - so you can definitely still be content with your achievements. I'm glad you liked it in the end :]

You win again. Just getting the cubes up top felt like a huge victory. Hell, just getting the laser at the correct height felt like a win. I could see that I needed to switch the cubes at the top of the funnel but eventually had to cheat with a video to see how. I'd never thought of that funnel reversal trick. I wish I had the patience to figure that out for myself, but at least that was the only help I needed. On an unrelated note, I've finally gotten around to adding multilib support to my Slackware64 machine, and this was my first time playing Portal2 with Linux. The poorer quality graphics and performance weren't the reason I couldn't get this on my own, but it did add to the frustration! Well done, thumbs up.

I thought that I was going to fall out of my chair when the ah-ha hit for getting the set up for getting the last two portals placed and getting the second cube up. I used pen and paper to try different procedures.

Not Yet! I Stopped in some point so maybe when I will come back later it has been solved by then! ( you know what I mean as a mathematician! )

Very hard for me. Had to use help from playthroughs to see what needed to be done to exit. I think I never would have seen it no matter how long I played. Thanks for creating.
