I'll make it so the Excursion Funnel there is on at all times and I'll add a droper above the gel

If the player gets on the faith plate before activating the speed gel, or if the bounce gel patch is covered in speed gel - both result in no way back.

hmm... that doesn't sound good, can you please explain more about the ways you can be trapped?

The player can be trapped on that island at least two ways, requiring a restart. Also, the last faith plate will bounce the player off the ceiling if used while facing the direction of travel. No rating, sorry.
