i really like this mod but there needs to be more negative ones that counteract the op positive ones. it would help balance out. it seems like there all good ones and kinda ruins the more lorefriendly RPG vibe of this mod.

I like this mod. Obviously adding ranks to anything is going to add power, so I don't understand people complaining about this being too powerful. I think it's great and it adds to the fantasy and rpg aspects of Warhammer for me. My complaint with other Total War games in the past was always that traits and talents felt weak and insignificant. I want this type of stuff to matter and make a larger difference. Thanks and please keep up the good work Sir_Isenhart.

This mod is really cool, but it can be exploited too easily. You can end up saving so much money because the -5% upkeep can stack and are present in various traits.

Just removed the discouraging effect from razing max rank on the S&F update. If I get some time to play I will see if they added anything trait-wise and will tinker with them.

After razing many cities a trait will give you an attack effect that demoralize the enemy, but this will replace Archaon's initial effect in SFO. Could you make them exist at the same time..?

sometimes i have the feeling that the traits are gained to fast and easy, maybe make it a little bit harder to get them, especialy if the trait is allready in higher rank. having a lvl 12 lord with maxed traits is a bit to fast, still love the extended feature, just think its to easy and fast. Maybe if more ppl think the same way, ou could tweak it a bit

I'd recommend to remove 'discourage' from razing 4 - it overwrites other precious buffs and it's kinda boring to have everyone with discourage at some point. Leadership debuffs by your extension (sacking + razing) are already pretty strong.

And a lot of lords/item have the effect for a reason ^^ or units....

still a cool addition to the otherwise boring traits.

why is the added upgrade of the trait (for example the battlemaster) is color yellow. shoudnt it be greener or at least green also.

@Garbage Man I can't add new ranks to the Bretonnia-only traits as the chivalry gains are hard coded. Thankfully Bretonnian Lords and Heroes still get most of the common traits.

There are a lot of things to balance in this mod and unfortunately I can't please everyone. I agree that the first rank of most traits comes too fast sometimes and that terror on all heroes is a bit op.
I'll see if I can get some time and work on a balancing update. Too busy with work nowadays.

i find that you get the better traits to fast sometimes. i just do a movement or ation once and i already have the trait, it would be better to be somehow a little faster than vanilla but not that much faster, it feels way to easy to get some of theese awsome skills/ traits

I'm not sure if you'd change this with how long it's been this way but I think you should reconsider having the wound and assasinate traits give terror. Terror, in my opinion, should be reserved for special units or gotten through special means, basically they should be uncommon. But with the wound or assasinate trait you can have it on literally all your hero's by just having them wound an enemy 2 or 3 times, it seems very unbalanced and devalues how most units have to work to get it like through a skill, banner, or by being a giant horrifying monster.

The max is, like, 40. With the exception of a Lord who fights a ton of different LL's, it's legitimately hard to hit the cap. Especially if you use the Trait Manager that lets you get rid of traits you don't want.

I have noticed that I don't receive any trait from performing "steal influence" with my nobles. Is this intentional or a bug?

Probably. Steam shows as updated and it also works in game (checked with Cpecific's Trait Manager, the upgraded traits are showing and being applied as normal).

Yeah, I run it with SFO without problems. In some ways the base mod is not 100% balanced (some race-specific hero traits are awesome), but it's definitely more fun than vanilla.

I am working on a text list of Traits and Their triggers for the campaign and I was just wondering if you might already have copies of the relevant tables that you could share, like the "trait_to_antitrait" table? and also do you know which table the trait triggers are on?

@yog I'm not sure why you are crashing but I am in a vortex campagin skavens with 62 mods including this one at turn 90 and haven't hd any crashes. And I kind of just grabbed a ton at once. Use karidens mod manager if you aren't using it already.
