一个完全没鸟用的MOD,没有图中带弧形的建筑模块,只有一池能让你走在上面的水,不能喝也不能游,甚至因为没有那种建筑模块所以也当不了摆设。

you know Noxsa if you can't get this running, you can always make a bath house by physically editting the map. I never thought about it but that might be an easier fix for now. This mod is for those who want to be able to not go through the hassle of editing their maps and instead place a pool wherever they want.

@Noxsa, its still a work in progress. Once I get the event list things working then I'll consider it a success. I need the water to be swimmable and drinkable before I worry about renaming it and saying its the final version.

oh god, this is the mod i'm waiting for, wanted to make this my self but had no clue how to start doing it ! so glad someone is taking the task.
this is wat my rome bath-house build needs, so i don't need to build it in the water to get "water" in the bath's if you get what i mean.
Question. is it kinda working or still totally experimental and unstable?

@KitsuneSenpai, I have looked into the folder and since I got an Ark Dev kit I can also directly see what the dude gave me, so thats helpful. However since we are modding and not coding here, there are fundamental differences between the way the functions and blueprints behave between the two. However, I might be able to salvage something from it. I will just try to make a simple set of events with it and then make it more sophisticated as I go along. I knew this would be a difficult project but I'd rather learn more from a hard modding assignment than do a thousand easy unrelated ones any day.

@Dezingueur it is possible that some of the mods you use share the same item numbers. But if you isolated it to just my mod, I would look at the graphics card also explain how it crashes your system. For you're the only one thus far that has told me it crashes your game. It might not have a physics layer to it but that's the main thing I'm struggling with. Still give me more detail on your situation so I can see what I c an do.

When you build waterblocks, there also must be something like Waterfalls (=maybe converted former walls or ramps) to manage different levels and heights.

Well its probably going to be another 2 weeks before I get the physics volume to work. But thats my new deadline because Im in work school right now so thats eaten into my free time. But after that, I'll have at least the water swimmable and drinkable.

Well now we can at least see the placeable in the game. When I tested it in the test physics thing I forgot to add a static mesh. I still need to tweak the mesh a bit but after that, I'll definitely add a physics volume and begin tinkering with it till we get stackable physics or water units behind the pool mod.

@Donkey, I don't know which structures studios software you mean. I just used the standard Conan Exiles Devkit. I'm still tweaking it though so like I said earlier in around 2 weeks from now it will be ready.

you can add build socket but to define them and say what to attach and where i couldnt figure out their tags and shit . so i just blind donkey copy the build socket component of foundation and added it to it.

Actually, I can stack them so thats not a problem. Maybe with the physics it might complicate things but honestly, I've built earlier tests with water physics and they dont get upset when you overlap them. I probably do want to straighten it up and add some snap points so I can connect them to buildings or I might forgo that and instead just encourage people aligning them correctly, so they dont deal with the hassle of wawa not being placed in bare sand or at the foundation level.

Making this is not easy Ive tried. the best i got was a placeable with foundation build socket used from Water well BP. To make something that swimable with stackable is not possible due to how collision are handled like your character has to be inside of something that state water volume in a physic volume but that isnt available in the blueprint.

So what you have to do is make overlap -> baseplayerchar -> get movement component and get physic volume and turn water volume on. but the end overlap must turn the water volume off. the problem is both overlap and end overlap will fire off if stackable thus makes it non swimable for the 2nd block. The devs are aware of it and are looking into way to implement a way to allow retrigger on collision.

If you wish to see a sample download Thrall wars. I have my water block in it its non swimable but it a first example i can showcase. Note its NSFW mod so there will be questionable stuff in there as being its server mod for RP

I got everything working except, I need to make sure that it can not run into collision errors and the gui for the icon ingame needs to be touched up but aside from that its virtually done.

it doesnt work yet lol I'm still editing it. But yeah the plan is to make stackable water I'll probably edit it and make the units small so you can stack alot of em. But I also want to make more units so I'll be updating this for several months until I get it right. I'm also planning on making a mod for eliminating the requirement for pillars and building stability but this is a good stepping stone.
