hair mod link doesn't exist

I cant download the hair mod from nexus i just keep getting:

i need help its not showing up on my data list when i check it i subscribed so i went in the game to look at lydia but she wasnt changed i went in data list to see if the mod downloaded its not showing up and i watched it downlaod

@freault i don't know what to tell you. You could try opening this esp in the creation kit and exporting the face date

also, who is butthurt because download in nexus, cost 0 to make a freaking account for download more than 3mb

Have you tried using this mod recently?

It is likely Phantom has an isolated case, and that it may work for you!

I would appreciate it if you would try the mod out just to make sure Phantom isn't the only one having problems!

sure i havn't play skyrim in ages :P,
but that still doesn't mean this mods isn't on the top list of used mods.

as for not updating it :(,,,
part of me can understand how you feel, with the recent paid event for mods killing the modding community :(, i can understand if you dont have the drive to update the mod,

shame workshop doesn't have the same kind of donate tab that nexus has
i and most likely many others are totally for supporting modders and donating to help you all,
but the paid for mods was wrong ""made to support modders"",,, but you guys/girls ONLY got 25% =/...........

all the same tho
this lydia was a most welcome member to my party compaired to old lydia and her continued complaining :P (i am sworrrrnnn to carry your burdenssss)

I'm sorry that's the case, but I'm no longer updating this mod, so it could be that the newer version of that mod is incompatible

I am currently using the that hair mod and still crashed. lol

col, mitch has a point there,
i've noticed that having this mods .esp at the bottom enables it, and makes it work perfectly

for example
having the UFO (ultimate follower overhail),
or least i think it was that one,,,, (havn't played skyrim in a while been to addicted to project zomboid)...anyway

if you have it before (closer to the top) the follower mod,
col.'s lydia mod doesn't seem to work,
but if you place it after (nearest to bottom), it works perfectly

@Tick Tock, have you messed around with your load order? This should go towards the bottom

...It was working perfectly fine before, and then I did a complete overhaul of all my mods to try and disable a bug where I acted as an essential NPC rather than dying, and now it isn't working at all.

@David If the mod doesnt use an esp and is simply a replacer then i dont think it adds to the mod limit. I might search it up online, im sure others have had the same issue. With the retexture mods those shouldnt add to the list, like I said.

so its prob just me finding some bug that only has a 0.01% apperance rate =3

lets but it this way, your better then i could ever be :)
(im also pretty sure i didn't hit anywhere near the 255 mod limit yet..and some of the mods wasn't activating =/ ... like the ineeds >.<)

and advice on how i could get past the limit / trick it into thinking their are less?

and does adding the mod streight into skyrims data file add toward the mods limit ?
(if it does, then i might start putting any of the retexture mods right into the data folder, and using the NMM with mods that add things into the game (or does major retextures like ULO does)

good news at least :), none of the other mods seem to f**k around with ULO,

gotta wonder why it and UFO have a funny one depending on its load order >.<
had to do a full un-install and reinstall, when i get round to adding some mods again ill give it a go, i know that 255 is the mod limit... theres no way i got to the limit so soon =/
but ill install one or two body mods, then get ULO and the ponytail and have a play with the load order.... ill let ya know how things go

also on a side note,
i used to use AFT, but ... cant remember what i read and where i read it but UFO shown more pros then AFT <shugs>

@David I honestly have no idea why that would happen, as UFO doesnt change follower appearances, or even individual followers at all, to my knowledge. I used to use UFO but now use AFT, and I havent had that happen.

not sure if this is on your list of things to fix for ULO.


was trying to get UFO sorted and have all the followers look like/do what/dress like they're suppose to but was having issues with the ULO and UFO.


i found that if i placed the .esp's as below
lydia.esp
UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp
(this would revert her to her base game looks)

but if i placed it as the following
UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp
lydia.esp
(it would change her to her modded appearance)

haven't got a clue if this is to do with ULO or UFO itself, but i guessed that i should let you know, i've also posted to fLokii and Vamyan to them know of this issue as-well.

You just need the main version of the hair mod, and @Ultimate Badass, that would require to much mod space and i dont have the right to do that.

I Have the Ponytail Hairstyles, but this mod isnt working--causing my system to crash. Its a nice mod and i would love to get it

you should pack the ponytail mod with this and add equal credits thats all no trouble downloading alternate files- come on lazy !

i have it installed and this is the only mod that crashes my game it will allow it to go to the skyrim symbole for a few seconds and the just exits the game entirly when i was testing what addons were doing this it seemed this was the only one caus after i tryed all the otheres i added this one to just eb alone and it just shut the game down it self

@Renal1985 I don't know of any incompatibilities, but you have to have the hairstyles mod installed.
