I tried adding a new weapon in by creating a new folder and shared.lua; it seems to be setup right but the gun appears inside the character's lower torso and it's sideways. My whole process for setting up the test gun I wanted to make was taking a weapon model from another addon which I wanted to use and replacing the original weapon's world model with it and then tweaking the settings to what I needed.

where would I get the orignal lua? also, how would I edit sounds?

You add a new folder in the lua/weapons folder called whatever you want your weapon to be called. For example: astw2_csgo_awp. And inside that folder you have a lua file with all the code you need. You can use the basic AWP lua from the original pack and modify it to your hearts need.

Hey, how did you make this pack? I want to make a CS:GO DLC for ASTW2 but I'm VERY new to making GMOD addons. I don't even know the basics. How would you add weapons to the ASTW2 base?

for some reasons my character does not hold the weapon properly. i have the L4D2 content and all but my character doens't hold it properly.

I've tried to work with many people. I've only done it once and it was to make a nazi zombies mod for hl2 that was reuploaded on this workshop (with permission)

Well, I don't intend to overshadow any mods, at least not directly. I recommend making packs with more weapons to attract the most people. :smileymud:
