Using a light bridge to temporarly disable a cube button is one thing, but using it to roll the cube out of it is completely mad X)
There's 'hard puzzle' and 'hard work', and I like hard puzzles. The first bit of that map is nice and puzzling, and the thing with the frankencube is cute. I can take or leave maps with lots of painting. Also, I just had a look at the 'easier' original, and the frankencube seems to walk down that lightbridge much, much easier than I remember it walking down yours. If I remember correctly you've got a couple of pillars in the middle of the corridor it has to scuttle down, and it got caught on them. A lot. Some maps are satisfying to get past just because you don't have to deal with the pain any more.
Camerson: e www. Tricky dicky. I spent a couple of days cursing you and wondering if you had posted an unsolvable map, until I attempted... that. It's enjoyable as it is, and players sometimes need maps that irritate them.
Other players. The "strange way" you have to use the lightbridge has nothing to do with dancing across the goo to the final exit. It's something you've probably never done before, and hopefully will never need to do in a Portal map again.
Here's a walkthrough: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AJYN8vsyCM
Don't watch it if you've only been stuck for a day or so. Working this one out is satisfying.
