No mods. I'm doing an update to this very old design to make it a bit more efficient. I can't remember if I assigned the drills to a control key as a "block tool", or whether i assigned them to turn on/off. If they're not assigned as a block tool, then reassign them that way. Doing so will allow you to select the drills, then right-click to clear away excess stone until you get far enough into the asteroid to get to the ore. You'll need to swing the ship side-to-side, and up-and-down to clear a big enough opening for the ship to clear. I hope this makes sense.

do you use any modes with this as i just took it out for a spin an the drills dont drill out far enough for the body to make it through?
