@Urbanist -- When I unsubscribe from Network Extensions 2 this asset appears on the LSM report as missing "RoadPlanter1" from NExt2.

Nice road ! Unfortunately, I use a snow fall map. Snow cannot be removed despite the snow removal vehicle :/

Got a few compatability problems in my main city at the moment so just mocked this [imgur.com] up quickly to show what I mean.

I'm currently using the map theme's concrete texture in front of the market building but it'd be nice to have the option to extend the pavement texture from your beautiful contemporary streets. Perhaps a decal?

Great asset, I'm using it a lot in my current builds. I've seen the pervious comment/answer and I can't wait for that version as well.

Would it be possible to get a couple of custom assets with matching textures (sidewalk and roadway) to complement these and allow for realistic wider streets to be created? Currently I'm using a near match but it would be ideal to have a matching texture.

What do you mean by "it doesn't always blend nicely when it connects with other streets"? Do you have any suggestions on this? I've been struggling with this too.
Right now I'm working on a pedestrian shopping street/mall version of this with just the lighter grey sidewalk texture - don't know if you're interested in this? :D
Trams are going to be a problem though - because the tracks have to be sunken to join nicely with other tram roads.

And of course one more idea. I use trams a lot, I also use bikes a lot. What I don't need are too many vehicle lanes in my cities. The problem is that 2 dedicate tram lanes with room for a centre platform, 2 vehicle lanes, and 2 bike lanes don't quite fit in the default 16m street. BUT, all the 32m wide streets on the workshop, even bad peanut's very nice 2-lane avenue with parking, tram, and bike lane (with amazing custom station shelters!) has quite narrow sidewalks. This isn't a modern urbanist vision! So why not be the first to make something like this on the workshop? https://puu.sh/BfyxB/793fc7154b.png
A 32m wide network, but only 2 vehicle lanes. Parking, a protected bike lane,trees, and ample sidewalks.

Yeah, basically imagine this current one-way but put a tram/service lane down the middle, narrow bike lanes flanking that, then sidewalk. Get rid of the parking from ths network to get the bikes off the central lane and I think it would all work out, space wise.

Would also love to see a 2-lane version of this network, again just remove the parking and make the vehicle/bike shared lane bi-directional. I'll honestly take anything you got with this texture theme, it looks fantastic but it doesn't always blend nicely when it connects with other streets. Would really just love to see a whole pack of the most typical streets but in this mix of textures. 2-lane with bike lanes and no parking, narrow 1-lane shared bike/street with counter-flow bike lane, dedicated 1-way tram with bike lanes, dedicated 2-way tram with bike lanes. You make it, I'll use it :)

And of course a decal for your sidewalk texture and a decal for the darker road pavers :)))))

@baronjutter Thanks a lot! I wanted to add trams too but it's difficult because this road is level with the terrain bt the tram tarcks are slightly sunken like all roads. I'll create a decdal if i can soon!

A wonderful road, perfect for "Superblocks." I use it extensively. One feature recommendation would be a version where a single tram track also shares the lane.

These are great, you've been making some very functional and pretty roads. There's a million flavours of highways and stroads on the workshop but proper "urbanist" city streets seem lacking, probably because not everyone has trams and bike expansions.

If I could possibly offer a request, I've always wanted a simple 2-lane tram road with bike lanes, as well as a 2 lane (in terms of width) pedestrian-only street with trams and bike lanes.

UPDATE: FIXED IN PLACE. All's good now, people. The next time you load your city, you should see stuck pedestrians spawning cars. Some biccyles may be stuck temporarily, allow them to despawn if you are using any traffic manager mod. Also the default tree has been changed to the new sugar maple and the bench to a more contemporary-looking park bench from the free Parklfie update. See change notes for more details.

By far the best looking shared street!
However, i seem to have the same problem - people getting stuck, unable to spawn their cars (upgrading the street to a different type solves the problem).
Don't know if this happened from the begining or just since the Parklife update. Could you please look into it? It looks too good to use other types of streets instead :)

Having the same problem as @Cab and @Daraptor. It seems to be in general: whenever they exit from a building to fish out their pocket cars, they get stuck wandering back and forth.

Very nice street :) But I have the same issue as @Cab, tourists (some, not all I don't think) that get stuck and just walk back and forth on a segment of the road. Happens on two segments close to a train station.

@Sach55 Hmm I'll have to check up on this. The segment diffuse texture is 1024 x 1024 and is 650kB. For reference the vanilla two-lane road's segment texture is also 1K but is 880kB. I am not sure why your game becomes slow...
