Not working for me as of December

had some issues with mod, start intro being funny/strange on maps.

Translation: "The artists are full of themselves and want you to 'appreciate' their work in its entirety"

With the Intro taking about 7 seconds.

Complete all levels with all characters on legend frame:
13 * 3 * 5 * 7 / 60 = 22,75 minutes wasted

100 wins on champion+ difficulty hat for every character:
100 * 3 * 5 * 7/60 = 175 minutes = almost 3 hours wasted

Assuming every game takes 20min (win or lost) -> 3 games per hour ignoring salvaging/box opening time. Wasting 3 * 7 = 21 seconds per hour played.

For every 100h played: 100 * 21/60 = 35 minutes wasted

I have around 1,3k hours in this game. Meaning I have wasted 455 minutes = ~7,5 hours in this game just watching this intro roll in. I hope the other version of this mod gets sanctioned.

I didn't buy this game to watch cut scenes ad nauseam. Either add your own skip function or approve this. Robins reason for denial is utter trash. No one in legendary wants to watch the cut scenes again and I bet a majority don't want to see them more then once or twice. Everyone's seen them, no one cares. We want to play the game not be stuck in cut scenes or waiting for ranald to cuck us again.

You should re-review but if not. Add a vote skip? Allow skipping at higher difficulty tiers? Allow games to be hosted with/without cutscenes and let the community choose?

So it is denies as of now or will be forever?

Would be possible to get this aswell for the Reward section? or is that seen as a "cheat" ??? i cannot tell you how many times i've just been sitting there slapping spacebar begging for the damn thing to hurry tf up, i don't care to see that damn bar going up. It's not like it's the same system as Vermintide 1 where you gotta roll the dice where it matters, here? i'm just looking at a bloody loading screen before i can go back to the keep, i'd rather watch a slide-show of paint drying than that crap.

7 seconds 2000 times. You only want to mangle whomever decided you have to watch their "#%& lines for the nth time.

Adding a "press space to skip" vote system is probably the best way to do this. A lot of other games have this option.

Fatshark please reconsider this mod for white-listing!

This mod is rly needed with this game. Reason for denying it is the stupidest I have heard during this games life cycle.

Cutscene's are annoying not only because they are useless, but they also add up to the down time between games, there are too many loading screens and other in-between screens. Add the frustration of no restart button, these cutscenes have become extremely irritating, plus there are ways to skip them, so people playing legit, already are watching others run ahead and there's nothing they can do about it.

At least with this mod anyone could be able to do so...

What a load of nonesence, how can FatShark deny this mod when people are able to skip cuscenes even without it (just takes more effort to do is all)

In that case an acceptable compromise would be to only activate this mod on the official realm if all 4 players in a game have it.

Please resubmit the mod. When your're playing with friends on discord his is the kind of thing we ALL want to see.

Robin: What part of "We don't fucking care about your opening cutscenes" isn't clear enough? The tenth time it plays is annoying, at 50 is infuriating, at 100 it requires advanced zen meditation to not rage at the game.

A skip button would be very nice, though I'm not sure if you could mod that functionality in for people who are not the host.

Personally, I 100% agree with the reason given by Robin for denying the sanctioning of this mod. However, the suggestion of "Kollege X" is quite good imo, if everyone agrees to skip the intro cutscene by pressing a button, this would be a nice addition.

I really wish this would have been added. With no retry button and no skipping cutscenes it takes way too long to get back into the action again. I say this as someone who only plays custom matches on the hardest difficulty available with friends(Lots of retries hah). I swear you start to memorize every single word Lohner says in the intro. Though at least none of the cutscenes are as long as "Horn of Magus" in Vermintide 1.

I've never heard anyone complain about another player moving around during the intro. All I've ever heard was, "hey how do you do that?"

7 seconds becomes a lot if you have to do it repeatedly.

People are REALLY impatient if they can't wait 7 seconds for the intro to end.

first off. i agree that no player should be able to decide for others if they want to skip a ctuscene. but perhaps the mod could be rewritten in a way that all player get a "press spacebar to skip" in the bottom right corner or something. this way no one can ruin the experience for one person, but if people agree they can still skip a cutscene they have seen hundreds of times

did you ask players, if they actually feel that way?
In VT1 everyone used the unofficial mods and skipped cutscenes. No one cared. No one ever made a single comment on it, other than "please tell me how to do this".

How about you guys make some kind of poll on reddit?
For all the mods that arent "cheating" but you guys feel might negatively impact the player expierence.

RuneScape for example does this. Players vote on features and if a big majority votes in favor the change is implemented.

Seems to do wierd things to player voices if they talk while the intro (would otherwise) still be playing. Not sure if you can do anything about that on your end or if it's a hardcoded thing.

In the future, can this also stop Lohner's intro lines? I'm not bothered by the intros themselves at all but hearing him drone on and on AFTER you've already loaded in, it's just awful. And since everyone and their grandmother will have this mod once Shatfark enables whitelisting, I'd rather not play 10% of the map while he yammers.
