@DesolatePsyche You could turn off Fines in Gameplay settings completely

with this mod anyone can recommend mod that reduces the cost of fines?

:/ I lose a lot of money sometimes when I'm in a mood of more casual play than "immersive". So I kinda speed around now and then. Lost like 2k in city going to repair center.

@Bulamatadi I drive 7.5 tonne in the UK I have only ever been caught speeding by police vehicles parked at the side of the road with a camera pointing at the traffic. Our oldest vehicle and therefore tachograph is 2014 and we have two 2018 trucks. I have been stopped by VOSA and more recently by DVSA a number of times, the only time I have had an issue at one of those stops, I was driving a 3.5 tonne (no tachograph) car transporter where someone else had loaded the car on the back with the engine over the rear axle of the truck. I don't drive on the continent so I don't know the exact laws in Europe but for the most part the driving laws are fairly standard.

@QuarterThrottle You've obviously no idea what all they can do nowadays. Especially when it comes to truck drivers. You're under constant surveillance, if they wish so! It's not only the police but the transport supervisory authorities in Europe. They can remote-readout your digital tachograph within the blink of an eye by driving by and connecting to it to enforce driving and rest time regulations. They use the DigiCons also to investigate and punish speeding. Especially in Germany. The DigiCin is like a black box which records everything you did and did not, rests, driving hours and, guess what: SPEEDS you were driving! So, exceed e.g. the max. 80-90 km/h, depending on which country you're in, they will know! To begin with. Recorded to the last second, mate. For almost forever. Also, after an accident, the DigiCon data will be examined to discover the events that took place at a collision site. Don't fool yourself. And others. You've no idea.

police travelling in the opposite direction to you would not know what speed you are doing,

Have you put it at the top of your load order. It's only one file so it won't affect any other mods if you put it at the top (apart from mods that affect police).

I can not make this to work???

No, this is an alternative version that just reduces the chance of getting fined.

Does it still have the 10 second time to slowdown before fining?
