Could you make map marker more visible on the ground. too hard to remove it later.
StegosaurusTTV 13. feb. 2024 kl. 14:52
reactice world are overhauls, most mods won't even be compatible with them lol
stecph 20. okt. 2023 kl. 2:57
I use this mod with RW,never had an issue. Maybe it's a load order problem.
Elkstone 23. juli 2023 kl. 20:14
Yeah adding a crate that tells everyone in the world where your stuff is buried does seem to void the point of this. Plus the mod incompatibilities... solid no
Gared 3. feb. 2022 kl. 3:22
I've read in the comments that it's missing basic trash piles, when paired with Reactive World mod. But higher level trash piles are available

Does this mean that I can still use this mod safely - it's just missing a few options, but not broken?
Cat Supremacist [SM] 28. jan. 2022 kl. 22:22
Note, not friendly with reactive world.
Cat Supremacist [SM] 28. jan. 2022 kl. 22:22
From what I read on outside forums it does not get raided, it's sort of like a camp.
lizardmang 29. jan. 2021 kl. 21:44
@ShinUon I haven't used map markers myself, but I'm certain that it would trigger raids like any other outpost, so it might be best to remember or screenshot your buried treasure locations. I don't think that can be changed in the FCS without turning off all outpost raids.
ShinUon 16. jan. 2021 kl. 10:27
The description says the Map Marker creates an outpost. Does that make it subject to raids?
Dosboy 29. aug. 2020 kl. 8:47
Any way to modify this mod so the items will stack? Maybe with the FCS? I have stacking mods, but they don't seem to affect these items. Thx.
Dosboy 22. aug. 2020 kl. 0:38
I freaking love this mod
Hex: Devour Bussy 1. jan. 2020 kl. 16:04
Hey there! I used the Marker relatively close to my base and, unfortunately, now I'm stuck with constant raids and the marker/outpost does not disappear when dismantling the crate. Any idea what might help?
Shir Blackwater 6. okt. 2019 kl. 18:45
Did a little testing and seems it is indeed the interactive world mod. It seems to overwrite the entire tech tree so anything under camping gets removed from the starting tech which includes the basic buried treasure trash piles. I can learn storage tech but that only gives the upgraded buried treasure. And other camping mods seem to be effected as well. Still trying to see if I can get it to work by changing load order of mods, but so far no luck.
Shir Blackwater 6. okt. 2019 kl. 2:25
It's curious, I've noticed that sometimes I don't get the basic ones (junk pile and big junk pile) even when I research storage I only get the second tier ones from that. Could it be possible this could happen with some start mods that give you some tech researched already?(Seems to happen usually with the Interactive world starts) I've tried changing the load order in those cases, or even disabling the buried treasure mod temporarily but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Other times this mod works fine though.
Skrymaster 9. sep. 2019 kl. 20:38
This mod... I've been using it to make "roadblocks" with the tier 1 storages and get certain npcs stuck with it waay too often.
Timesplitter 7. maj 2019 kl. 23:57
Thank you for this amazing mod that I have included in "Kenshi: The World Divided". This Mod Collection has been fully tested and works perfectly. Thank you again for the great mod to add to this collection. :steamhappy: Timesplitter.
Ice Track 28. apr. 2019 kl. 23:40
I just got back from Stacks to the Hub where I put 3 of my buried treasures near an iron vein. Somehow it disappeared. I really dont know why.
Shir Blackwater 30. mar. 2019 kl. 12:10
This has been a godsent in some playthroughs and starting scenarios. I had a random start at the leviathan coast and happened on a beak things nest that had just recently been ROFLstomped by a leviathan and there was quite a bit of loot there too, several decent weapons and 17 beak thing eggs... I was able to store all that loot in one or two of these treasure piles untill I could return with a better squad or at least a pack bull, so two hazardous trips later my fresh character is now off to a pretty decent start all thanks to this mod!
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. 2019 kl. 10:14
@Krontixious From the info above: "The bigger and better need some skins and fabrics for wrapping the valuables, and the best ones also demand that you know some stuff about item storage technology."
Krontixious 16. feb. 2019 kl. 9:00
I don't have the option to choose the Buried Treasure options. I can only choose between the Piles of Junk and the Treasure Marker thing.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. 2019 kl. 11:20
@Dune Thanks for constructive feedback! I'll make a note of it for future updates.
Dune 28. jan. 2019 kl. 18:55
I've subscribed to this for a while, but I didn't really use it until my current game. It works great. You might add to the tool tips that the "junk" piles don't let items stack, and the "treasure" piles do. I do wish the treasure ones stacked higher, but as it is, it is easy to add more piles.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. 2019 kl. 13:10
@David Badger This sounds a bit strange. This mod is really simple, it just adds a few buildings and that's it. I really don't think it is this mod that conflicts with anything. But I might have a look into it when I get the time.
GrumpyDave73 27. jan. 2019 kl. 15:21
Cont. these two mods together make Kenshi an entirely different (and much better) game.
if there's any way you might be able to or otherwise find the time to, try and get these two (yours and interactive world) to work together that would truely be a gift to myself and others like me that love the two mods and can't imagine this game with-out them.
i'll write to the other modder as well. maybe the two of you folks could get together and hash out the conflict... i donno... i just hope there's a way.
thank you for your mod and your time.
GrumpyDave73 27. jan. 2019 kl. 15:20
hello there, this mod is awesome. it changes everything and i couldn't live with-out it now.
thank you very much for making it.
i ran into a conflict tho...
there's another truely great mod i can't live with-out that has updated or something and it removes your mod from the game somehow.
the mod called "interactive world". there's 3 parts to that mod. the main, an iron and copper junkyard one, and a patch for the two to work together. it's the main one that no longer works with your mod. i tested it out and i'm pretty sure that's it.
Pazoozoo 1. dec. 2018 kl. 14:27
Such a simple concept, but...damn, this is useful. Thanks!
CanIHazUrPants 27. aug. 2018 kl. 13:10
whod have thought piles of rocks and dirt could be so sexy :D
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 21. juli 2018 kl. 7:16
Don't know if you got an update or not. I learned something about the FCS today. Never base new a mod on a copy of another mods folder... Please let me know if I broke anything for anyone using this mod.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 29. maj 2018 kl. 10:57
@Rohzdear Yes, it might, especially if you hang around, but if you leave it as soon as possible, you shouldn't have any issues. If they do: Think of it as if spies got a sneak peek at your map and informed the authorities about possible smuggling :)
Rohzdear 29. maj 2018 kl. 10:52
Will the Map Marker box attract Tax Collectors since it creates an Outpost on the map?
Armorguy1 15. maj 2018 kl. 6:30
Great! This'll be handy to shove away all that "forbidden flesh" of all the people i killed (permanently). :)
Goweigus 12. maj 2018 kl. 19:58
Somehow this mod reminded me of artist THEFJK contribution to the Metal Gear Solid: Flash Collab

Huh? Just a box... Huh? Just a barrel... Huh? Just a guy sticking 20 ai cores in a pile of rocks XD
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 10. maj 2018 kl. 5:08
@Felix You use the Map Marker: An inconspicuous broken crate placed to mark your treasure. (This creates an outpost: Name it something like "Treasure". Now you will see the treasure marked on your map. Dismantle this crate to remove it from the map.)
Immaluckez 10. maj 2018 kl. 3:21
Thanks for the reply, i think such aspect that u have mentioned is possible but require a good scripting with the editor. Great work. Besides, if i bury my treasure somewhere, will it automatically make a marker on the map ? How i do i mark it if it is not automatic ?
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 10. maj 2018 kl. 2:44
@Felix If I find a way to do it, it will def be added! I wanted to trigger a possibility of raid against the map marker-outpost, but according to my sources this is not possible as raids choose random outposts... I think it would be very cool, though, to maybe find a a camp of treasure hunters on your spot when you returned!
Immaluckez 9. maj 2018 kl. 18:58
10/10, is there a possibility someone might steal it if they pass by it ?
DarkAlkaiser 9. maj 2018 kl. 16:57
This is brilliance, and the perfect addition to this game, thank you.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 8. maj 2018 kl. 12:31
@BigPoops And you can! Just don't add the map marker if you are too close to your outpost. Only use one of the bury methods.
X 8. maj 2018 kl. 10:32
@saftsuze Sure but it would be fun to have a secret stash, or maybe an emergency stash in case you need to flee your base and have some backup equipment/supplies nearby.
-a-r-k- 8. maj 2018 kl. 8:54
Simple yet clever, subbed ^^
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 8. maj 2018 kl. 6:44
@BigPoops I have not tested all the possibilities yet. I guess if you are close enough it will expand your old. But if you are already that near one of your outposts, you can just run back to it instead of burying your treasure, eh?
X 8. maj 2018 kl. 6:39
If there is already an outpost really close by, will it still create a second outpost on top?
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 8. maj 2018 kl. 3:29
After a discussion with the modder-gods at Discord I decided to include a map marker in the mod that basically starts an outpost. You can name it Treasure or whatever you like, the important thing is that you get an X on your map you can return to later. Just remove the old broken crate and your outpost shold disappear from the map again.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 7. maj 2018 kl. 23:51
@Wuyek I am trying to figure out how to make a map marker without creating an outpost. If I find out, there will definately be a map marker included in this mod!
Radd 7. maj 2018 kl. 18:23
Sick!
Vuyek 7. maj 2018 kl. 16:44
Does it show on the map?
X 7. maj 2018 kl. 12:40
What a great mod idea. Good work.
ETERNAL_PRISONER 7. maj 2018 kl. 8:48
Awesome!
deejK 7. maj 2018 kl. 8:43
this is pretty creative. kudos, man.
saftsuze  [ophavsmand] 7. maj 2018 kl. 6:14
A quick update today: The four different buried treasures was cluttering up my build menu. So I gathered them in a group Buried Treasure. Use arrows to choose your preferred treasure-concealment-method.
