Aw, im sad that this mod isn't working anymore. Or at least not for me. I hope it gets fixed someday because it sure makes the sky beautiful.

Thank you so much for this. The debate on if this is realistic or not shouldn't matter because being able to play a game and have the opprotunity to see our own galaxy (even if it is digital) is wonderful. Light pollution sucks, so I take every chance to go out and drive a hour to see the Milky Way in real life, but having this mod allows me to appreciate it in the comfort of my home.

So is Nirn in the Milky Way galaxy or something? The planet in Skyrim (and every other TES game for that matter) isn't Earth.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I subscribbed a while back, loving this mod - lost everything when my computer crashed. Got my computer fixed, discovered everything reset and for the life of me I can't figure out why that happened. Been searching for this mod ever since . . . 'til it finally occured to me to just type "galaxy" into the searchbar and hope.

AND THERE IT WAS!!!

So happy to have gotten it back. Makes the Skyrim nights just spectacular.

I have one little question: isn't Milky Way supposed to be more from north to south. In game it's from east to west and it's a little bit disturbing. Thank you.

@merchant If you want an explaination of what's up with the sky in vanilla Skyrim (which you probs don't lel soz) I can tell you, you see in Skyrim, the universe is NOTHING like ours, in fact there is only one planet in the entire universe, being Nirn, and stars aren't stars at all, they're simply holes in oblivion (which is seen by the people of Nirn as the blackness of space) that lead into Aetherius (the point of origin of magic), their sun (magnus) is just a hole bigger than the rest.

Out in the desert, far from city lights, you can almost see the Milky Way like this. But, we are not on Earth in Skyrim. Two moons, different sky. Maybe Nirn is a bit closer to the center of the galaxy than Earth. The galaxy makes the night sky so distractingly beautiful (I find myself sometimes stopping for a moment--to let my stamina replenish, yeah, that's it--and viewing the sky. Fabulous texture. May have to update the moons next (I notice that vanilla Masser looks like it is a modified version of Mars. You can even see Valles Marineris--so definitely a modified Mars, not that that is necessarily a bad thing!)

Okay, you made a great galaxy (I'm pro designer); but... is it realistic? I mean... as Dragonborn/player, you supposed to WALKING ON THE EARTH and looking to the sky, you see the stars... This textures of yours, looks like you're playing... "ELITE DANGEROUS" and you're watching the galaxy through your HUD of your cockpit!

I mean... it's not realistic SOOO MUCH detail of the sky, even during great nights & atmosphere. You (anybody) won't be able to see THAT KIND of galaxy's details, with your own eyes, from the ground...

...Otherwise, are great textures.
