does this work with naval and air unit or is it only for land unit?

Step 3: For some reason, HOI 4 mods don't like being merged through the launcher. Therefore, you will simply copy and paste both files into their correct folders (common/ideas and events) in the vanilla folder or your preferred overhaul mods. Needless to say, make sure you saved before or started a new game to test this. If it doesn't work or crash the mod to crash, simply go back and remove the two files.
I tested it on the Cold War Mod and it worked for me.

Step 4: Enjoy having a newly recruited military become well-trained in a few days.

If anyone still looking at this, I found out how to make it work and even included air and navy units experience. I don't know how to make a mod and it seem a hassle to make one,.

Step 1: Download this mod, because you can and need to modified one of the two files.

Step 2: In the Common/Ideas, you will find the mod_experience_division file (should be only this file in there). Open it with notepad or whatever similar program you like, and you will see this:

modifier = {
experience_gain_army_unit_factor = 10.00

Simply added these two line to make it look like this:
modifier = {
experience_gain_army_unit_factor = 10.00
air_training_xp_gain_factor = 10.00
experience_gain_navy_unit_factor = 10.00

you need to update this

Yeah I've tried to use it with Kaiserreich but it doesn't work. Says the event doesn't exist

Doesn't work with a few overhaul mods, but I think its ok with Kaiserreich.

works fine, just because the mod version is out of date doesn't mean the mod is broken

This still works, the game only tells you something is out of date based on the game version number in the mod, but this has no effect on gameplay.

@Vanyushaa The experience for air wings isn't handled in the same method that navy and army exp experience is - from what I understand the air exp system is entirely different to the other two

Its possible they simply haven't made a modifier that does that yet.

Do you have an idea as to how apply this bonus to the air units? I managed to figure out how to get it to work for navy, but merely replacing army with air doesn't seem to work.

You can only remove a national spirit (I think thats what theyre called I havent played in a while) with an event or by editing the save.

so if we want to remove the boost, what command do i use in the console?

This mod should continue to work whenever Paradox updates HOI4 as it is reliant on a single variable in the game that I doubt they will change.

I think its working. Upon typing the console command, it will give you a national spirit of Division experience gain of 1000%
