Anyone else just getting people with no faces? I'm running it with CPRplus and followed the instructions from Zenibeans and Restless but pretty much everybody is faceless.

Nendur has given us an updated portrait submod, check it out here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3096549686
Restless 29. juli 2023 kl. 8:24
1. Navigate to \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod
2. Open tsk_dlc_portrait.mod.mod
3. Change the text in dependencies={} to whatever name="" is in the_seven_kingdoms_b1.mod.mod
4. Save.

That's it.

Creator, it would be nice if you made a video showing how to fix the dependency issue and posted it here... Hopefully on all platforms this game supports, bc I have no clue what anything you posted about means
NoClue 8. juni 2023 kl. 17:31

The guide Zenibeans wrote actually works, so simply follow his instructions yall.
Zenibeans 11. okt. 2022 kl. 19:48
Hello everyone, I hope this little guide helps others trying to get this mod to work. An earlier commenter pinpointed the error as being a mismatch in the dependencies line of the .mod file in an earlier version. This is unfortunately true of the current version too, and the way to fix it is this. 1) follow the step above by replacing your .mod file with the one inside the .zip directory. If you cannot find the .zip in your /mod folder, use a workshop downloader off the web and access the .mod from there. 2) open your .mod file in notepad after placing in your /mod folder and replace the following line: {"The Seven Kingdoms Beta5 | GoT" "The Seven Kingdoms Beta6 | GoT"} with {"The Seven Kingdoms Beta11 | GoT | Update Released"}. Make sure to copy the whole line minus the full stop. 3) That's it, hopefully now you can enjoy this great mod with lovely CPR portraits!

Big D OG 7. apr. 2021 kl. 17:19
@TitanRogue I think I got it to somehow work anyways, thanks for the excellent mod!
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 7. apr. 2021 kl. 10:10
Nope, busy with rl and CK3
Big D OG 1. apr. 2021 kl. 19:15
@titanrogue Are you going to update?
SammyGunz 7. okt. 2020 kl. 21:47
is this mod dead?
OGbaba 7. okt. 2020 kl. 12:19
Could this possibly be a problem with CPR being out of date?
laze 18. aug. 2020 kl. 0:15
Me neither, despite following the instructions in the description.
Petorian 13. aug. 2020 kl. 7:11
I just can't get this to work, shame :(
sasc 27. juni 2020 kl. 12:39
@TitanRogue Yes, I deleted the file that was indicated and replaced it. I really appreciate you writing back! Thanks!
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 27. juni 2020 kl. 0:47
@sasc @TimothyTimbers Did you modify the mod the it is described in the description above?
sasc 26. juni 2020 kl. 18:34
I'm having the same issue as TimothyTimbers below. Not a complaint at all--really appreciate the amazing work you do! Just asking/reporting. Thanks again!

Does this work with the March build? I have all portrait DLC but get only stock vanilla faces (have tried deleting and reinstalling the mod several times)
Dio 18. feb. 2020 kl. 6:14
nvm I fiexd it! Awesome mod!
Dio 18. feb. 2020 kl. 6:05
What do I have to do to make this mod work? I have all the portrait DLCs but when I activate the mod the portraits look like the vanilla game, Where can I find the instructions? thx
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 5. jan. 2020 kl. 12:39
My bad
Askyia 5. jan. 2020 kl. 5:54
Find out how to fix it! (at least it worked for me lol)
What you have to do is go to tsk_dlc_portrait.mod.mod and edit "dependencies".
For some reason, "dependencies" says "The Seven Kingdoms | GOT" rather than "The Seven Kingdoms Beta5 | GOT". Change the "The Seven Kingdoms | GOT" to "The Seven Kingdoms Beta5 | GOT"
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 25. dec. 2019 kl. 11:41
@manchester
Unsubscribe the mod, delete the mod files in your mod folder, open the CK2 Launcher, subscribe, close the CK2 Launcher. Hope it works.
Alexander 25. dec. 2019 kl. 11:10
hm, tried your fix but it doesn't work for me either

Too bad, would be nice to not have the ugly faces haha
ツᴀʟᴜ 30. nov. 2019 kl. 3:27
Yeah, nothing.
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2019 kl. 2:37
@ツᴀʟᴜ Did you follow the instructions?
ツᴀʟᴜ 30. nov. 2019 kl. 1:10
The portraits are still the same. Pls help.
Endovelicus 11. okt. 2019 kl. 21:46
I make the instruction installation, but i continue to have some weird portraits in various regions, some help here?
snek 6. aug. 2019 kl. 15:54
So I guess I am dumb but when I finally thought I found the right file and deleted it and then I did what I thought you meant and copied the other thing and pasted it in the mod directory. The patch mod is now gone from the launcher?
reginaldedmund 26. juli 2019 kl. 19:50
No Summer Isles
Eludio 8. jan. 2019 kl. 17:58
Awesome! Loving the mod so far
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 8. jan. 2019 kl. 8:12
Yes I did, but I actually plan to integrate it in the main mod. I also want togive every great house their own gfx culture.
Eludio 8. jan. 2019 kl. 5:48
Have you ever though of giving House Dayne a specific gfx_culture? Given that GRRM described them as having quasi Valyrian traits
mick jerlouse 26. sep. 2018 kl. 18:11
more than a month old but if ur having issues with the dornish and minor ironborn portraits, enable the cpr+ mod along with this mod broski(s)
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. 2018 kl. 11:24
That is most unfortunate since I do not have any problems. Delete the mod and redownload it. Then try it again. Make also sure you have the required portrait packs and CPRplus activated.
squirrel 12. aug. 2018 kl. 6:29
I am having the same problem. Weird faces both by dornish culture and some of the minor ironborn cultures. Got this after doing the suggested fixes.
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. 2018 kl. 21:38
@General Grievous What suggestion are you talking about? You need to run CPRplus as well. What folders did you delete?
General Grievous 8. aug. 2018 kl. 13:44
I did your suggestion of deleting the necesary folders.... it now shows everything but the face...which is invisable. Not foreveryone, but just the Dorne people mostly....

Also, i checkmark this box and the GOT| Seven kingdoms box... do i need to also have the normal CK+ stuff running to?
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 26. juli 2018 kl. 1:05
@Rakdar Did you follow the instructions? It works just fine for me.
Rakdar 25. juli 2018 kl. 17:50
Hey, it seems that the latest TSK update broke this submod. Can we expect a patch soon? Thanks.
orion♪ 5. juli 2018 kl. 13:23
You still deserve the thanks for doing this.
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 5. juli 2018 kl. 13:23
@✯Orion✯ Don't thank me yet. There are still lots of things to do
orion♪ 5. juli 2018 kl. 13:21
Dude, thank you so much.
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 5. juli 2018 kl. 13:21
@✯Orion✯ I have finished the first version of the Witcher Kings CPRplus patch.
orion♪ 10. juni 2018 kl. 22:11
Thanks again.
TitanRogue  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2018 kl. 22:03
It will be linked on this mod page. But you asked for it so you will eb notified, yes.
orion♪ 10. juni 2018 kl. 15:12
Hey, another question - you wouldn't mind notifying me when it's done, would you?
orion♪ 9. juni 2018 kl. 9:36
Thank you so much! :cta_emo7:
