Man, this looks dope, I had never seen something like this before, you definitely nailed the style given to the Aztecs in those ancient paintings, with the nice mix of colors and decorations.

I talked with omkar and there is a topic on the 5.8 IA page concerning that bug , maybe you can check it out yourself, but acording to him the publishers are already working on it, so a mater of time I supose

I unsubscribed from the mod for the time being and started another standard game (with the 5.8 IA and units). This time the error occurred about 15 minutes into the game (in which I had NOT killed any monks), ending in my defeat again. However, when I load saved games and played, I had absolutely no issues at all and everything was fine. Not sure whether this bug came from elsewhere?

weird, does the game play's normal if you disable this mod? because I dont know anything about .dat archives, maybe there is an overwriting of some SLP. As fas as I understand there is a unit that is not declared on the IA 5.8 code, on this case the animation of the Monk's death, maybe you can talk with satapathyomkar1 , the creator of that version of the IA mod, and report the bug, I think he is the person capable of solving this (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1657863246)

hi, I'm using the IA and units 5.8 and just wanted to say ever since I subscribed to this mod (putting it on highest priority and played as the Aztecs) , my standard game would give out an error message and then end in me being defeated EVERYTIME I kill an enemy monk! It's been happening for like 5 times (I tested this again by playing as the Vietnamese and it still happened). It literally happens whenever the first enemy monk gets killed by my unit (whether it's a military unit or my guard tower). I would have to restart the game all over again. Is there any way to fix this error? Here is a link to the screenshot of the error message.

Pretty please make this IA compatible. Cuz so far only the walls and TC have the new Grafics. It doesn't seem to matter if IA is turned off or on. It also doesn't seem to matter what priorities the mods have.

i think honestly just matching the siding designs you have on the other buildings onto the actual mill i think would be sufficient. That way it would fit in with the rest of the buildings.

hehe that's still on the "to do list"... well in one had Im doing other projects that you can check on the workshop so that keeps me buissy, on the other, I haven't yet found a suitable model for the aztec mill, I mean the wind mill is inacurate and difficult to make, but a water mill (wich is easier to do) doesnt convince me at all, what do you think it should look like?

Was wondering, by the way I LOVE this mod, this is the best Aztec reskin, and honestly in my opinion, the best reskin for a race in AOE2 by far. That being said, can you please finish the mill? Sorry but it just bugs me building it and it not fitting in entirely with the rest of the buildings.

I love this set! I can understand that the mills are a horror to make, but I can't wait to see them! The colours look far more realistic and contemporary than the rather anachronistic faded ruined look of the original default set. Especially the walls and fortification parts on barracks etc look really nice and lets the culture stand out just as they should.

I was just asking a question since the last update was almost 3 months ago and it looked like you moved on to the Incans and Mongols. You can't just assume a guy is dogging on you just because he asked a question .

Honestly, you should probably do what Catbarf/Warsmithy did and write something in the description that lets people know that you haven't abandoned the project and that you're just busy. That way people like me won't ask any more of these pesky questions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

indeed, acording to Saint Michaels, the creator of the IA mod, this set can work as it is by making it higher priority than the Independant Architecture

Hugojandro, simply subscribing to this and Independent Architecture, making the latter lower on the list and selecting the Independent Architecture Data Set will make this ONLY apply to the Aztecs because they are the "base" graphics in IA for the American graphic set.

It doesn't look mayan because this clearly has aztec references. Mayan architecture was quite simplier and has few colors, yet this set can work for both meso civs. Incas is other topic though
