@Lynnuxx I tried a wing made entirely of wing blocks, and it did no better or worse. i also tried a larger rudder, but it also didnt help. i think the drift is from the phantom rotor torque. but this is also a year old design so it may need to be updated.

If i pick up messing with the props again, i might go with a P-38 Lightning style, which should help with stabilization!

Yes, it's fun building planes with just aerodynamic control, no gyros. If the plane is drifting too much sideways when using the rudder you need to add more vertical stabilisers. The one block in front of the rudder is not enough. It's interesting that most players/creators prefer a good looking wing or rudder over one made of many wing blocks, though the performance is way worse.

Legit stuff man, thanks for sharing!

@woostyboy It's been trimmed quite abit, moved the engines around and the position of the wing. then i trimmed out the control surfaces. i think alot of the lift is due to phantom torque from the rotor displacment.

That is so cool! Proper control surfaces. In real aircraft the faster you go, the more lift you produce and it will move vertically. Just proves that your design works completely as it should! See if you can add a 'trim' function to smooth it out? :)
