Sorry to all those whose comments I did not respond to in a timely fashion. I have been away from the Skyrim modding scene for quite some time, and have not checked in on the comments regularly. I'm now getting notifications when someone comments, so I know to respond. Thanks to all those who wrote to express their appreciation.

I really like him. He is effective in battle, and not annoying.

side note: I've noticed NONE of the marriage ceremonies last after the vows are made and you're declared married... EVERYONE leaves lol

I am thrilled to bits with this follower - totally suprised me in our first battle and he doesnt bug you with constantly irritating comments when we stop - Im considering him for marriage he's so sexy ;-)

I play a Breton Mage-Vamp and I have found that same race plays very well together plus he looks kinda cute, Lol! Thanks a best of luck!

Nice follower mod, one of the very few that do not make my computer explode by just installing them ;)
I have problem with it though: Jacil does not use magic except for mage armor, which he casts several times and then draws his dagger and proceeds to fight with that.

And I agree with Valtarien, if you could make a Bosmer that would be great. :)

Sorry for late response, perhaps between mage and a thief would be good.

Thanks Kissa. What did you have in mind for a class archetype? Mage, thief, warrior, or some hybrid mix?

Hey, I love these follower mods of yours and was wondering if you were willing to make couple of wood elf ones aswell ( Maybe some living at the farms that are around Riften or the citys itself inn? ), there isn't any marriable ones currently in the wonderful world of Skyrim so my archer was left quite alone. :c

Thanks.... I am subscribed to that mod too. I did reload an old save and tried again but that didn't work. I'll try unsubscibing to the "Marriage MOD WIP" and see what happens. Thank you for researching this. Great research & troubleshooting skills!!

Porsche Siobhan: I just checked "Marriage Mod WIP" ( http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11579 ) and it looks like it may be a problem in that mod. You may want to start there, if you have this one installed.

That sounds like a bug in the marriage mechanics of the game, something this mod does not even touch. Try reloading a save prior to asking him to marry you, then see if that works out. If not, check your mods to see if there is one that affects marriage and see if this is a known problem with that mod. With so many possibilities, I doubt I will be of much help. Jacil is programmed to behave (in marriage or otherwise) as NPCs that Bethesda made. All I have done is to define his stats, skills, appearance, spells, inventory, and combat AI. I did make him a candidate for marriage, but that is handled in just the same way whether it is a custom NPC or a stock NPC.

Your welcome. Just fyi... I'm having a bit of a problem trying to marry Jacil. Maramal just declared us married but nothing happens for a bit then it seems to go into a loop.... i.e.; he asks me again if I want to marry Jacil and then declares us married and then nothing until he asks me again. I try to talk to him (Maramal) but it says he's busy. If I try to talk to Jacil, he just says he's excited that we're being married. If I walk out of the temple and then try to talk to Jacil, He says 'How could I?' and walks away. I try to reload an old save and try again but it keeps doing the same thing. ????

Porshe Siobhan, Belasco32: Thank you for your kind comments. I do my best to be as detailed as possible. One reason why I'm slow to make sweeping changes or updates. Since everyone who subscribes on the Workshop is force-fed any updates I make, I want to make especially certain that I don't break their followers/spouses.

I've been using Selmina for a while now and she's brilliant, so I didn't hesitate to subscribe to this mod. I really love your attention to detail and respect for the game's lore. Thank you and please keep up the awesome work, I'm looking forward to subscribing to more mods from you in the future :)

Thanks! I just saw the Selmina link. Must have been too stupid to see it earlier.

If no one has any objections, I am changing Jacil from an elemental mage to a necromancer. He will still retain the same destruction spells. The only thing that will change will be his summoned pets. So instead of summoning atronachs, he will summon undead minions. This change is now live. If anyone objects speak now or forever hold your peace. I want to make this change active before too many subscribe to the mod.

Yes, I had considered that, but this follower was simply a response to a request for a male version of Selmina, for those who prefer a male companion/spouse. If I create any more followers, s/he won't be a mage. The closest I would get is a spellsword or crusader.

Hmm so they are both elemental mages? Would have been cool if they had choosen completely different paths in life (or just magic).
