Sails that are Sandy, a huge chapter mod, takes ~42 + ~13 (so ~55) seconds. Pirate Hat, a mod like this one that adds a single Brewing Hat flair, takes <1 second. Space Swashbuckler, which adds a hat flair, costume, and weapon, takes <2 seconds. This mod takes ~55 seconds to load. It seems quite long in comparison. Very few cosmetic mods take more than 1-2 seconds to load.
Having mods in general enabled seem to make the game take longer to load, and I don't think it's an issue with this one specifically. I don't think the error message is related to performance either. I'm not sure why it does that but it shouldn't be an issue.

I don't know if they're relevant or due to something else. Also, it doesn't seem to emit purple bubbles any more?
Played a little more and turns out it just got erased form my inventory.
