I used only the tractor beam , laser is not needed as you can place the tractor beam on the floor beside the platform with the button and ride up a bit and step out of the beam ? Is this an intended solution

I'm prety sure I did something unintended. I just put a portal behind the companion cube, retrieved it, put in on the button, went to the cube drop area, jumped out from behind the glass panel, and done. I never used the laser or the tractor beam. You might want to fix this
