Buckay, try dropping your shader down to medium. My computer is a beast that should have no problem with L4D2, and I can have all the other settings set to max, but if my shader's above medium suddenly everything goes to shit.

Gotta say, your Real map mods are amazing, especially for Dead Center. They bring out more atmosphere and visual quality than even the CLE or HD environment mod in my opinion.

it;s probably just not cooperating with another mod i'm running then. i'll try taking the other mods off and run it again...see how it works that way. it really is a great mod though everything looks amazing on it

Buckey, i cannot understand how it could come from the mod: you are the only one (on 15 000 mod suscribers) to tell me that its laggy!

This color mod doesn't add anything to render, i just switch the regular post-prod colors to an other, its not even an addition: its a replacement.

Your computer cannot lag just because you display some orange instead of some red, your pc probably got slowed by something else. You should check for malwares or any internet crap toolbar that is most probably the real reason for your lags. You can also check your CPU temperature (believe me its not a silly idea) with dedicated programs like CoreTemp. but its an other story, and has nothing to do with the current page.

it lags in general, when i turn corners, when i kill a zombie, pick up weapons, reload. i took it off and it reduced my lag a ton. it might just be conflicting with another mod i've got. i'm not bashing this mod by any means, it looks fantastic it may just be that my computer can't handle it or something with another mod

Ill need confirmation for that, because the file doesnt change the cpu/gpu charge at all, its just a new color filter, nothing new is calculated.
Could you confirm that and give a sumup of your spec, ill need it to see if i can reproduce the lag you are describing? Because i've never been told that the mod make lag before you, so it may come from anything else than the mod.

And yes i'm aware that darkness on low end config is an issue, but as its hardware connected, i cannot do anything without screwing settings for other players too :(
But now i'll take this in account while doing the next one, i won't do it as dark as Death Toll

Excellent work. About the "darkness" problem it's really boring with small configuration or/and screen resolution like me. Real death tool and dark carnival are impossible for me but if I make the good settings I can play at the parrish and dead center in goods conditions. But usually the result is simply nice and realistic. Keep the good work. :-)
