As I remember weapon powerups don't work for Wildcat and Wolfe because they have piercing bonus, also doesn't work for shotguns.

How do the powerups work? with elemental damage I do not see any difference when firing a weapon.

Yeah, powerups don't work for characters which have a "bullet piercing" skill. That is how it is coded in game, not in the challenge.

i don't really understand how the powerups work. For example, when i pick technique with his "prototype rifle" or whatever it is (unlocked at 1st lvl, special for tech.), it works - when you take shocking stuff, the shots shock aliens, when you take freezing stuff, it freezes them etc.

but taking, for example, Wildcat didn't get any results except the only one powerup which speeds up the player. I was carrying the autogun and PDW, if it matters.
