I reworked the install instructions and changed their location to the collection page.
As it is the same process for all characters i think it's a better place for them.

If its working of course. Maybe newer Versions of winzip or winrar can handle vpk files. When i uploaded this they werent.

Okay, I started the game once after subscribing. Then, I quit the game and went to file explorer, and found the vpk program file.

Is it alright if I use something like WinZip?

You have to look here
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons
After subscribing you have to start the game once, so the addon copied to your l4d2 folder.

I couldn't find vpk 1322201277 in the addons secction of Left 4 Dead 2 in File Explorer.

For an workshop mod, yes it is complicated (But i would say just following the guideline it all takes around 10-15 minutes.
but there is no way to upload another filetyp with the offical l4d2 uploader tool to steam. So unfortunately there is no way to simplify this

Can't you just make an updated version that automatically installs the sound files once you hit the subscribe button?

none of the characters have every of the above folders.
But there is not one single voice line from the normal surivors left i didn't change.

Please ensure that your game is in english language first.

So in that case, I cannot get the actual add-on for Ren's voices on Francis. But this kinda also happened to the rest of the characters. So..

Whenever I like ya know open it on GCFScape, it would only say left4dead2_dlc1 to dlc3. So it would not show like left4dead2, I do not know why it would not show that up.
