I reworked the install instructions and changed their location to the collection page.
As it is the same process for all characters i think it's a better place for them.

dont delete anything.
Just copy the main folders of the voice replace into your main folder of l4d2.
It will ask you to overwrite the already existing files.
If it doesnt ask, stop the process. Otherwise you would copy the files somewhere wrong, maybe hard to find, and for sure useless.
Just do whats told in the description point 3-5 and it should work.

I think it's a problem from the website provider. But you can download the program over their shared link: http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/files/files/
Download: I would suggest to download: gcfscape186.exe or gcfscape186.zip
-> Install and go on.

3. You can create a backup of your files from this folder
...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice
and the 3 corresponding DLC folders
(e.g. ...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice)
Simple copy the folders somwhere else, or make a .rar or .zip out of them.

1. You download the vpk when you subscribe to this WorkshopItem. After its downloaded it's somewhere in the download folder of Steam (Temp).
-> Start L4D2 once -> Its copied to the L4D2 Workshop Folder
...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop
Here you have to search for the correct VPK's (e.g. 1321859211 for this item)

After you found your vpk you need GCFScape to unpack it (vpk is the steam version of 7zip or rar, so you need a programm to unpack it).
-> Unpacked you have a few folder with the Voice Replace files.

The original Voice files are in this folder:
...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice
and of course in the corresponding DLC folders
(e.g. ...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice)

To overwrite the correct files you just need to copie the the workhop folder into your main L4d2 folder ...:\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2
