That's happening if you have more sounds in her folder as it should be (e.g. by switching language).
I recommend to check her folder, delete everything, copy everything from this mod again and also do the rebuildaudiochache again.
e.g.
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach
and
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach

You can also try just the rebuildaudiocache again, possible that it was just an issue during it.

is it just me or does blakes voice sometimes just freakout in a static earrape noise

I reworked the install instructions and changed their location to the collection page.
As it is the same process for all characters i think it's a better place for them.

ok nvm, i looked back in comments and did the same thing someone else did and accidently had another rwby voice mod on for l4d2 survivors, turned that off and everything works great. thanks for the mod :)

i put on all the characters and the voice files, but for some reason the voices of l4d2 survivors sounds like most of them have been slowed down immensely and deepened to the point you can barely understand them. doing the passing, they'll talk to the other survivors just fine, like ruby saying 'hi ren' but when it comes to the generic sayings they just don't work right

It's not possible (at least not without some hours of work on your side) to change the character to a specific voice replace it's not made for.

Can i use it for L4D1 survivors?

The vpk is downloaded with steam/subscribing. You need the gcf programm to unpack the vpk. And nope its free for personal use and you dont need an account.

Do I have to have an account on the website where the vpk is downloaded from?

All Voice Lines from all survivers together are 21.742 wave files.
If you install all my voice line replaces it's exactly the same.
There is no conflict no matter what L4d2 is showing.
If you have installed another voice/sound mod, conflict are possible of course.

Or do some mod conflicts affect voice files?

Why is the installation path correct and invalid? The voice files of RWBY four people are invalid, and I also entered the code correctly.

You could try to start one of the sounds E:\Spiele\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\mechanic
• If it's a sound from RWBY at least, all files should be there.
• Check that your game is in english language.
• Retry the snd_rebuildaudiocache.

When this doesn't work either. Maybe there are other mods in conflict.

The last possible step could be reinstallation of the game.

i didn't know gfcscape before either. But normally it's pretty save for downloading on the official Nemesis side. Net Framework is a official Windows software with libraries many programms need to work. There are e.g. many games on steam which need Microsoft Net Framework 4.0+. You can download the current version directly over microsoft or google :-)

i want to uses these, but i'm all nervious and shit about downloading things i don't know about. i said fuck it with gcfscape thing, but that said it need something called net framework. it honstly just made me nervious. i'm sure your voice add-ons are great. but i'm scarred i'll download the wrong thing and it won't work, or i'll download a virus. so for the time being. i'll just stick with the regular vioces

I make a voice replace for Bill already, it's phyrra.
Off course it's possible to change these files from one character to another, but it's very much work and by the way it wouldn't fit with the other survivors.

Can you make it for Bill?

I don't have a vid.file from my mod, but i think you will recognize most of the voice lines very quickly, if you watched RWBY ;-)
If not, i would recommend to watch RWBY, before this "complicated" insallation.

Very good! (solved my problem easily, another voice mod was conflicting) So far the only problem I've found is that one of Pyrrha's lines is actually Ruby's voice (one of the "Oh!" exclamations)

Just installed it. Congratulations in your mods! It's always great to add detail to the game. The RWBY Chibi voices add more fun to the action, for sure. I haven't tried out the team RWBY voices because I'm having that weird problem where the soulds get extremely slow and low-pitched. I'll tell you something as I get that solved, hopefully soon.

I don't know if my replacements are better. Many of these files are equal to the original replace. I just tried to bring more variety with as many different but fitting voice lines as possible.
Sometimes its just semi-fitting e.g. yang's line "you still owe me a drink" for "ready?" and the others answer "yes" :-D
So i think its a bit more funny than the orignials.

It seems you've done a great work there. Are these voices better than the original replaements for team rwby?
