I loved working on it back then!
Who knows, if one day I manage to have some stable financial situation I might get back into it!
Just saying hi here and giving a bit of news:
I will probably not continue the developpement of this mod as I've started another project.
If you all was interested to see/learn more about Skaven, I invite you to join me on the all new work in progress Survival visual novel called "Life of a Skaven". You can get all info here: https://www.patreon.com/kertitprod
Thank you for all your comments about "Skaven War". I had alot of fun doing it.
Thing's I'd like to see improved:
1.) Adding more NPCs to talk to and see walking about in the home town... just to make populated areas feel more alive.
2.) That midnight outpost raid level with friendly combative A(<3 btw) I got frustrating with one AI getting stuck in a "I hear Something" animation at the beginning and the lack of a weapon for the player character to use. This all made the level more difficult than it could have been if the player was given a throwable weapon to better even the odds.
3.) ...last level came off as a bit empty on the enemy side of things given the situation of entering hostile territory while it's actively being under sieged. But I understand if that level of polish is outside the realm of what Overgrowth offers.
+Many ways to finish objective (especially the escape level) and good level design
+Less frequent checkpoints making game more risky and rewarding
+The rat town feels alive because of the interactions with the people
+The story is well-paced, intriguing throughout the campaign
+Parkour doesn't give clue, allowing you to think
+Good performance (even on my low-end hardware)
Cons:
-During the war and Clanrats level, you are not given weapon despite ready for battle
-Ending feels rushed (though more are coming)
-Checkpoint can be frustrating in 'escape' because of difficult parkour
-During snow level, The white male wolf can be killed with 1 sword strike.
Overall good map, defintely recommend.
Thank you for making and sharing this :)
I'd probably fund a Patreon page.
Once i'm done with that campaign, I could maybe start a "sason 2". But then i will open a patreon or something like to help me. I can't allow myself to work for free anymore.
And wait 'till he uploads them, but I think this time he forgot because he only he only corrected the loading screens.
Only the last level remains to be done OwO.
I'm thinking of finishing the whole story during this month. And if enough people ask for it. I will maybe see for a season 2 !
The thing is: my time is limited, and so my wallet. If i make a S2, i'll ask for donation to help me go farer and farer ;)
Btw, new update out now!
The level is safe, but will have less visual details.
Will upload soon anyway.
I've created a Topic specially for that.
I apologize for the delay of the next update, but it will be worth it :3
I hope you will all love the last level... that should be.. Impressive hehe :3
Queek, likes mod-thing, yes-yes!
I really thank you all for your interest in my work !
