Thanks bro.

Sorry I missed these comments. I haven't paid much attention to the steam interface lately:

"How to use?" Install, capture a capital, the raze option should be clickable unlike normal.

"Does it work now?" It should still work. I haven't played in a while but none of the DLC since the last time I played has fundamentally changed how capitols work.

"Does this allow you to trade capitals?" Unfortunately no. I tried figuring out how to enable that but it is buried much more deeply in the code.

"After the remove of capital, would I still get the domination victory?" Yes. If the civilization is not completely wiped out, then the next most populous city will be marked as the capitol (similar to how if rising water wipes out a capitol). If they are completely wiped out, it is not counted towards the domination victory which is I believe 80% of the available capitols (if only one capitol stands, then you should get it).

After the remove of capital, would I still get the domination victory?

Novalice, there is a fix that I created for myself, check: Zombies can raise capitals mode. It is compatible with this mode.
Novalice 18. apr. 2021 kl. 23:59
Hopefully this mod gets updated to work with the new Zombie Mode. It's immersion breaking to see Zombies burn down all non-capital cities then not be able to finish off someone because it's a capital city.
the_Gonopo 10. apr. 2021 kl. 15:57
burn them all!
Shinoskay 30. nov. 2020 kl. 6:05
is there a none dlc version of this?
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 13. okt. 2020 kl. 14:20
Not any longer. Used to work but last expansion update broke it.
Nay 13. okt. 2020 kl. 13:57
can you sell capitals with this mod?
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. 2020 kl. 15:35
Weird. I don't think there has been an update recently. Possibly a conflict with another mod or corrupted file. I would start by validating the game cache. Failing that, what other mods do you use? (I have honestly had general stability issues with Civ 6 since their last update)
Vengeance 1791 6. nov. 2019 kl. 13:27
This new mod you're working on sounds amazing! I wish you success
belko 20. okt. 2019 kl. 7:31
hmm ok thanks for that info i didnt know that
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 20. okt. 2019 kl. 7:17
Also, I have been working on a mod for a while in my spare time to add refugees (basically a special kind of settler unit) of which two to three spawn with some military units to protect them whenever a civilization's last city is captured or destroyed. Only by destroying the refugees can you completely wipe out a civilization but doing so adds a large number of grievances to all allies that have a higher disposition with them than you and lowers the disposition of joint allies. This would mitigate the effects of this somewhat since it would make it more difficult to eliminate a civilization form the game entirely.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 20. okt. 2019 kl. 7:17
In a historical context, numerous times throughout history a civilization was thoroughly and completely destroyed as the result of war or natural disasters to the point that there was nothing left to liberate afterwards such. For example the Mayans, Ansazani, Haumakas, and the Olmec all completely disappeared for reasons often thought related to large scale natural disasters. The Assyrians, Sumerians, and Aztecs all met their end due to war and were not occupied but instead were almost completely destroyed. Rome collapsed under a combination of factors and was never occupied but just stopped existing due to political squabbles, war both civil and external, and corruption/mismanagement of its empire.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 20. okt. 2019 kl. 7:16
You can liberate a civilization as long as any city they ever established still exists, not just their former capital. If all the cities a civilization has every established have been destroyed, then, yes, a civilization can be completely wiped out. Just because a capital can be razed doesn't mean you have to though. A few asides:
belko 20. okt. 2019 kl. 6:01
In the game you can't remove the capital city. Why ? because that allow other leader to liberate the capital and liberate the leader that was destroyed. So with this mod its impossible to liberate and get back the leader

Same here - glad you enjoy it:-)
Dido 29. sep. 2019 kl. 1:52
Because of my playing style Civ is more or less unplayable without this mod so a million thanks!
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. 2019 kl. 8:44
Sorry for taking so long but this has been a hell of a month for me (busy at work, car accident, wife chemo). Should work now. Please let me know if it breaks again.
Burp Reynolds 22. sep. 2019 kl. 18:49
So no razing Caps until the mod is updated? I get the Keep City? box but no option for raze. The Kongo just surprise attacked me so I'm looking to eraze... them from history.
Dido 18. sep. 2019 kl. 2:50
No stress!
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2019 kl. 15:22
They actually changed the API completely as they are wont to do with every update. Probably will be next week before I can dig in a whole lot, work is keeping me busy but I should be somewhat free Friday (hopefully, time permitting as always).
Dido 16. sep. 2019 kl. 1:38
@br410bury With a very limited knowledge of modding, I think the "why" is because they changed the text and information you are given "the box" since the update. They have added some information about what grievances you will cause to different players based on whether you raze or keep the city.
UrbanGerman 14. sep. 2019 kl. 11:11
Experiencing the same issue mentioned by @Dido. Have also tested this and found the same results.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 13. sep. 2019 kl. 8:28
I will look into the why this weekend, time permitting.
Rootimus 12. sep. 2019 kl. 12:10
@Dido - I was wondering what was causing that bug - thanks for sharing!
Dido 12. sep. 2019 kl. 6:54
Since the September Update the box where you can choose whether to raze or keep a city won't show for me with this mod enabled. Tried without the mod and the box showed. This goes for all cities, not just capitals.
Manu 9. juni 2019 kl. 15:05
My bad, it says "You need DLC to use this item." that I don't have
Manu 9. juni 2019 kl. 15:04
Whenever I take a city the option to raze/take won't show. The pop up message is now showing to me, for any city, not just capitals
Burp Reynolds 7. apr. 2019 kl. 12:56
This is the best way to get revenge on the A-Hole AI.
江东兵马大都督 21. feb. 2019 kl. 4:06

You're the best man, thank you.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 20. feb. 2019 kl. 14:42
Finally got this !#%(# thing working. Nothing was wrong with the script but the game wasn't properly loading it because of changes to load orders and how scripts are loaded-.- As always, let me know if anything doesn't work.
Douglas 19. feb. 2019 kl. 14:59
I can not raze the capital of Mongolia. The other civilizations are in the same situation. :steamsad:
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. 2019 kl. 14:18
Hmmm. Let me dig into it. Last question that would help if anyone can answer it: Can you raze city-states?
Dido 19. feb. 2019 kl. 8:17
Dosen't seem to be working in GS
江东兵马大都督 18. feb. 2019 kl. 22:26

br410bury  [ophavsmand] 10. jan. 2019 kl. 16:24
That is correct. If you raze a city currently, even with no mods, any wonders in the city are gone for good. This mod does not change that behavior - it merely enables razing when you take a city that would normally not be raze-able.
Marcy 8. jan. 2019 kl. 11:06
So considering the fact that back in Civ 5 if you'd raze a city any wonder in it would be gone forever and not released back into the wonder pool, is that the case here too? I recall reading that in vanilla Civ 6 it does return them. But apparently R&F changed this and it is not a bug as a result of this mod? If it's not a bug then I'd have no problems using this mod.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2019 kl. 12:49
Also, sorry it took so long to reply but Steam notified me of a new comment today and, upon coming here, I saw there were in fact five new comments spanning back to October. I guess I should manually check more regularly.
br410bury  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2019 kl. 12:47
@Rabid Piranha: I was not able to fix the missing wonders. Unfortunately they way Firaxis chose to implement modding is weird - they seperate all actions into two categories and adding/removing Wonders are in a different category or script. That isn't to say there isn't a way, I just couldn't figure it out (as an aside - I'm not a fan of their modding functionality).
