Unfortunately I won't be updating this mod anymore, but the new mod includes all these things and more! :)

I am proud to announce the upload of the new Hungary expansion mod that I have been working on!

Hopefully the mod is updated soon, it looks very promising. Sadly it won't work, keep getting a crash on launch, even when I run the mod by itself.

Not to mention that road to 56 would also try to overwrite some parts of this mod

@Corn Man Since you are trying to use a mod that modifies states with road to 56 the two mods will conflict, since rt56 has custom states as well.

I noticed something, every general stat is 1,1,1,1
Only for me? Did anyone else notice it?

When i try to launch it with road 56 it crashes, if i only launch this mod then the focus tree only has the basic focuses

Yes, we are currently working on the mod. @Hazunk I dont think we will have a discord group, because our time is anyway limited and we want to use it to work on the mod :)
But I can tell you that we already have a huge focus tree, which consists of around 400 new focuses with lots of different paths to take to shape the history of Hungary! :D

Sorry for the long break, I will carry on working and updating the mod as soon as the new DLC is available. Upuntil then there is no point updating it because I will anyway have to once the DLC has been released.

Ok, a couple of things,
1. Support Mechanization: it gives three building slots in Qingdao, not in Hungary
2. Hungarian Motorway Network: it gives +2 inferstructure in Qindao Zian and Dailan, also not in Hungary
3. Reformed Education System: Holy shit, I think you added a zero, its +50% research speed, I think its supposed to be +5%
4. your locked out of the reformed conscription part of the military tree if your not facist

Yeah there is a research boost bug, instead of giving -10% research time it gives +10%, and the foreign policy its incomplete, and it will be nice to add the state of Burgenland, in rest the mod its really cool, keep it up with the good job ! ( i know many people will complain about my name but its just a game ;) )

there seems to be an problem with some of the research and production instead of giving me an 10% speed boost it gives me -10% speed

here hare some Hungary ideas you might take into consideration

1. Visegrad. A democratic alliance between Poland ,Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Hungary must be democratic

2. Danubia. An alliance Between Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Romania ,Bulgaria ,Yugoslavia and Austria

3.Carpathian nationalist pact. A fascist alliance between fascist Hungary, Free Slovakia and North transylvania

4. the international. A communist alliance between Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Austria

5. new states like Burgenland and west transylvania

@Lizzard227 I mean I might take some of your ideas for the next build of this mod. In this mod I actually just wanted to focus on hungary and there is still lots to do. I have a lot of things I still want to add and since I am working on this alone I don´t think I have the time and the ressources to add more focus trees.. I like your ideas though and I might be able to incorporate some of them in the hungarian focus tree ;)

So, I´ve just updated the mod to the man the guns DLC Version! :) And I´ve solved all the bugs, if you still encounter any, please feel free to comment!

That's a perfectly fair statement, though I think we can 'blame' Paradox for giving Hungary the Austria-Hungary restoration path in the first place. Otherwise, said 'Reinforce the Regency' path would have been the non-aligned path here, right?

@Revan sure you´re right, but that option is basically already in the base game with the fascist path (Which is of course not really historical either) but making a non aligned counterpart would have been boring in my opinion.. But you´re right, I also wanted to add ahistorical options. When I was thinking of a more historical focused hungary, I was referring to events that I wanted to add, like the fact that hungary was forced into the axis and that they wanted to peace out with the soviets and so on.

I'm probably going to get shot for this, but if this is more focused on creating a more HISTORICAL Hungary, shouldn't the focus to have Horthy become King (despite his fervent belief to not become king) be changed to 'Maintain the Regency' or something along those lines?

exuse me, I got some ideas which you might like that i will like too. I think it will be good to add more states in the balkans and central europe like you did with hungary. It will also be a good idea to give bulgaria and slovakia national focuses. The bulgarian focus tree could let you create the south europe slavic alliance with yugoslavia(First member) czechoslovakia and hungary. You might think hungary is not slavic but name the foucus to invite hungary a non slavic allie. The thing I want most from you is a czechoslovakia focus rework with the choice to make edvard benes king and you know the dissolve bulgaria focus tree, add a focus that is opposite commonly known as alliance with bulgaria. and the slovak focus tree try to give you the option to make a coountry caled tatra carpathia which you have to unlock with a seires of focuses to annex hungary take over south poland and most of romania and also to attack yugoslavia for a coast. I hope you like my idea

Im having notification icon -bug. Somehow this messes icons, like one icon consists of two different notification -icons. When i deselect the mod, everything is fine.

@=D= SmokedProphet Thanks for the info and the screenshot, I am aware of these issues. The problem is, that right now I don´t really have time to fix these bugs, but I might be able to do so in february. Everytime theres a major patch for HOI4 the mod gets new bugs, so I think I might even wait until they release the Man the guns DLC before fixing these problems, we´ll see. :)

My game breaks a little bit whenever I enable this mod. Several modifiers on countries like France and Yugoslavia get their code descriptions, for example MODIFIER_WAR_SUPPORT_FACTOR and MODIFIER_STABILITY_FACTOR. The GUI icons for research, available factories, divisions and so on break and bugs out as well, they sort of phase into each other and use different icons.
