It all depends from what you are awaiting...
I already converted a selection of units (as a elite corps, I decided to remove some units from the roster).
Swordsmen (regular), Spearmen (regular), Halberdiers (elite), Greatswords (elite), Knights (cav, elite) and Gryphon Riders (elite) are part of the "new" corps.
These are all working as well as their building....the only thing missing are the unit cards.

No, sfo is a great overhaul mod, but I don't use it so I will not create such a version.

First of all thank you for the feedback.
In theory modding is not that complicated. To create a compatibility mod is an other thing, cause you have to know what entries are changed by the main mod and have to refair them in the submod. If you are interested in creating such a submod send me a friend request and we can discuss this topic.

Look a new faction is lots of database and startpos work and this might lead to heavy compatibility issues with other mods.

Same aswer as for my HKO mod. They recive the buffs that their caste/type (melee, cavalry, infantry, missile, bow, gun, spear, sword etc) recives.

All the things are in the land_unit_tables. Have in mind that if you change the unit size you have to change the ship maximum transport size too - don't know how it called exactly.

Hm Well, I know how to edit mods with packmanager, could you give me directions to where I would need to edit to change unit sizes and cap limits.

I assume stats would be where unit sizes would be.

Well lets say it's the second case. In theory SFO and my one are different mods and don't harm each other. But SFO is an overhaul so there is a chance that my units may not show up ingame.
A crash will not happen.
