For some odd reason, the shotgun doesn't change from its ugly chunky "new" version to the better slimmer 2012 Shotty, as this screenshot shows: https://files.catbox.moe/l7ag7s.jpg

If it helps, I quicksaved both before picking up the shotgun from the weapon rack after saving the guard from the zombie guard and applying this workshop mod.

Doesn't seem to be working but I have some other workshop mods like the Revolver-Shotgun unswitching mod and a FOV adjustment mod.

No I mean in singleplayer. The viewmodel works, but when I see the worldmodel, it's the vanilla BMS shotgun with a warped texture (presumably this gun's texture) over it.

Yeahh... the fact that a 1998 weapon is more modern looking than the ones from the future in Half Life 2 is ridiculous. Thanks for creating this mod and sharing it with us

Looks better than the modern Black Mesa shotgun. It resembles the HL2 shotgun a lot, an HD version of it pretty much.

the new SPAS-12 shotgun is more like orginal half life 1 but is very big and i like old black mesa shotgun model

the new MP5 and Shotgun model is clunky, the older ones are favorable and simple, kinda makes me wonder if the team did this on purpose to make the Beta shine more I wonder.... same goes with the Marine's voices, all these new decisions are really odd. Maybe they are indeed on purpose, as it drives people to play the free version more with added levels and mods.
