By normal maps I meant the actual VatF file from my release, the weapon_ak74_nm.vtf. As another not just use the VMT files from the original wood release, that should solve your problem right easy.

Normal map turned on, but there's also a issue.

When I go into dark areas (eg. a dimmed-out hallway, or the small room with everything inside of it in TuMTARA), the reciever and the barrel shines. I've checked and unchecked each of the flags, and it doesn't seem to stop.

Is there any solutions to solving it?

Might wanna use the Normal maps with it too, the plastic handgaurds and clean reciever don't quite fit with it.
