The mod should be up-to-date and run fine, let me know if you encounter any problems! The new Greenskins factions don't have any special shields with this mod though, maybe one day I will import them from Gigauz if they agree for them to be carried over to this mod.

Updated version is now live, and it includes all the nice things Gigiauz added in his update to his mod, and a few of my own adjustments. Check it out here and see if you like it: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1798878265

I plan on keeping this version of the mod on the workshop as well, so you don't need to worry even if you prefer this one.

This mod should remain functional despite the update probably making it look like its outdated. I will reupload it eventually but you should be able to safely use it even before that.

Just a heads up that Gigiauz has recently updated his own mod. The new version gives a bit more detail to the units and removes blue clothing from the Orcs, but doesn't include the changes this mod does to the Goblin units. You might want to check out the changes and see if you like his mod more now.

I might consider doing an updated mod of my own version that would need Gigiauz's main mod to function, but I'm busy with other things at the moment so that will take a long time yet to come - if ever.

Mod should now be up to date, comment here if you have any issues and I'll try to get to them next week.

Just a heads up for anyone using this mod: I may not be able to update the mod on 31st or even in the near future, but since it's just a reskin it should work fine. Just enable out of date mods in the launcher.

I will update the mod when I can though, rest assured!

It looks demonic tbh, lol And as design goes, I see nothing wrong about it. They are suppose to be savages and mean. I tried to assign the red eyes to the savage orcs just out of curiosity, but red and green didn't mixed up that well. Now, the little red texture in the black orc helmets, it looks fucking great

@Gleen Cross If I end up making greener orcs I will see about changing the black orc eyes as well. I'm not sure if the lore says either way about their eyes but they do look pretty dramatic in Proper Orcs!

By the way, I already did my own "fix" to it, but how about you use red eyes for the black orcs? There's a mod called proper orcs, the author reskined the black orcs helmets (and Grimgor), and they all have red eyes. It looks pretty cool imo, don't know if it is lore friendly or anything tho

@GunKing Thanks for kind words!

Your mod idea is pretty interesting actually, though it's not one I would have thought of. I'm new to making mods, so it could be worth it even just for the experience. No promises, but I'll keep it in mind and maybe take a look when I have the time to delve into the game's files :)

Great mod, helps improve an already stellar work.

If it is within your desire and ability to do so... could you do a mod that makes Greenskins properly green and makes their eyes properly red? Like around the shade they have on army book covers? Orcs are a kind of brownish crap green in this game by default, only Goblins look on point, with only one Orc face variant that has red eyes that actually pop.

Have a good one!

Glad you like it guys!

Sick, nice work!

@WARPIGEON They keep their faction colors - and the Red Eyes should keep the unique elements added by Gigiauz (now that I think about it, their squig hoppers might be exempt from my changes as well) - as the the shirts and pants are dictated by a different file. I don't have any screenshots at the ready but if you wish to see it for yourself, you can begin a new campaign as either Greenskins or the Dwarfs and attack the nearest enemy army on the first turn. I haven't fought every faction with the mod on, but the changes have looked good thus far.

@Gleen Cross Yes the blue pants are gone, enjoy! :)
Gleen Cross 9. feb. 2018 kl. 15:45
So, you removed the goddamn blue pants? Gigi has a nice taste, but those pants are atrocious, lol
aeON 9. feb. 2018 kl. 14:52
So do the other tribes keep their color scheme too?

Thanks :steamhappy:

Everyone has to start from somewhere no matter how small. Looking forward to more mods from you. Added a thumbs up too ;)

Thank you! It's a small thing but I'm pleased with it :) Maybe next one will be a little bit more ambitious!

Congrats on your first public mod :D
