So your saying that you have the right to mine my data? I do not remember checking the box.

You can do that with the Realistic Population mod

Very nice building, but I think asset has got so many workers. In my game this building half empty (80k people in city). Will be cool if you reduce amount of workers.

@meshd You mean the company PDX? Were there some data bla bla shitstorms or what's up?
meshd 22 jan, 2020 @ 2:26
make one with PDX logo on it

I had this building taken out by a tsunami. When the DRU people showed up to search through the rubble they got stuck there and continued searching. Other buildings were being cleared as normal. Only way I could rebuild this one was to bulldoze it and build a new one.
Senfkorn  [skapare] 2 okt, 2018 @ 9:19
@2Numbah9s Yeah sounds like a glitch. As far as I remember, I've had that too.
Eevee Enjoyer 1 okt, 2018 @ 6:00
I built it when I was playing yesterday and after I did it that symbol that appears over unique buildings you've already built also appeared over the Science Center (even though I can still built the Science Center), is this a glitch?
sebesams 28 sep, 2018 @ 3:16
I like this one. Thank you!
Senfkorn  [skapare] 19 jul, 2018 @ 12:41
@baronjutter Exactly! I started asset creation using 2048x1024 textures. HD assets are cool. But later I thought it's not necessary anymore to make ~6mb assets. The difference to 1024x1024 tex is only minimal. For all upcomming assets I will use 1024p textures, if possible, and maybe in combination with sub buildings that have even smaller textures.
baronjutter 17 jul, 2018 @ 21:41
You latest work has been much better on file-size budget, almost by half. For those of us with a LOT of assets it's hard to justify single buildings that are more than a few MB. I wish more creators strove for more efficient use of textures and understood that their asset will just be one of hundreds in someone's city.

@Bendlovajager Ok, updated. For any reason the PloppableRICODefinition.xml was missing.
WalkingDust 21 feb, 2018 @ 18:48
This looks great!
Bendlovajager 18 feb, 2018 @ 14:55
@Senfkorn Of course.. It updates automaticaly. Sorry, I meant 12. february update of the building. Before that, it worked fine as office. And later, after loading the game, the building was there but it was unique. I did not turn-off Ploppable RICO. What a mystery :D
Senfkorn  [skapare] 18 feb, 2018 @ 11:47
@Bendlovajager Do you have the updated version (for v.1.9) of ploppable RICO?
Bendlovajager 18 feb, 2018 @ 8:08
I had this amazing building in RICO menu, but after the update in 17. february I have it only in unique building menu :/ Anybody knows why? I tried to un- and resubscribe but nothing :steamsad:

@ultrabuizel10 @derek328 Ok I understood. Thanks for the Explanation. It's nice to learn more about. I knew the difference between data and cloud mining but I thought a data proccessing centre (or a data mining centre) can provide both or more services. Thanks man.
It's very interesting to read the comments, cause it shows how controversial this topic obviously is.

@Senfkorn and @ultrabuizel10:

i'm a professional in this field, so i can help answer your questions :steamhappy:

the idea of cryptocurrencies (virtual currencies not backed by any government, or any object of innate value) is that you need computers to process extremely complex "blockchain" algorithms -
in order to generate a "coin" for use or storage in a virtual wallet.

"cloud mining" is 1 of many "coin mining" methods that people can use to speed up the process (to get more coins faster), using cloud computers to provide the processing power. the benefit is that people don't need to dedicate money or physical space to put large, hot, noisy, power-hungry computers - they can just sign up a cloud subscription, and pay for the processing power provided from another location, via an internet connection to a home computer.

it has nothing to do with data collection of any users on the internet :) hope it helps!
t4w1m 9 feb, 2018 @ 19:51
@senfkorn From my understanding cloud mining is the collecting of data from users and coin mining is doing something with a blockchain.
