The LOOK of them is amazing now, but the experience is the same - and with my modified/upgraded/magic (now) Elbon Great Axe of mine, they need JUST A BLOW (as the Vanilla's bears) from my top of my horse, to be killed...
Would it be possible for you to add it to the Elder Scrolls Nexus?
I think that simple variance will go a long way, in making this even better. (Feel free to vary wolves, foxes, saber cats, and the like.)
But still, when you see one of THESE things coming out of the woodwork, you reach for your Daedric sword instead of your bow.
Plus, bears were bigger in the times of Sabre Cats and Mammoths.
It doesn't help that Bethesda's bear hitboxes are really poorly made. Not being able to headshot standing bears is a vanilla problem, unfortunately.
