I love Serious Duke 3D

I play it in VR, and this is one of the most impressive VR games tgh. For example, pigs and octopuses are scary up close, and naked boobs are real hot in VR. It is a masterpiece.

I spent 60$ just to play this.

I bought sam Fusion thinking i could play the duke 3d mod, i keep getting errors when i try to load the levels. What am i doing wrong?

The only way I get it to work, was to buy Serious Sam 3: BFE. Otherwise "Unable to load map".

Love this so far! Found a glitch though. When you start the 1st level and go straight to Duke Burger (ignoring the firefight on the right side) you can clip through the window on the right side of Duke Burger and then get soft locked in there (the sliding doors won't open).

Thank you for this absolutely delighful MOD. I just finished the whole campaign including the Classic levels and had a wonderful time with it. The gameplay, the weapons, the bosses, oh my god it was so good. You made my weekend. Very good work!

The best mod ever, sigh I wish max payne 1 and 2 with this graphics, also ion fury. and bioshock 1 and 2 but i will just continue dreaming.

@Syndroid okay all seems to be working now, I unsubbed then re-subbed and it just worked again. This happened before when I left it a while and came back to it. Thought CT's updates had screwed it again. Love the inclusion of the eagle in the downed ship, and I see you took my advice for ditching the DNF pistol ;) Message me on Discord if you were interested in new art for the billboards and such. Still interesting in helping to make content for this, and after the latest playthrough, I had a few ideas. PLAY THIS CAMPAIGN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN GUYS! IT REALLY ROCKS!!!

The mod should still work. I just tested it myself with a fresh install.

The "DLC" is Serious Sam 3 itself. Jewel of the NIle addon is not required.

Just make sure to download the network script resources mod and the other level packs.

There's an installation guide on the collection page in case you need further information.
If it still doesn't work, let me know what the error message in the console says.

Even if you have the DLC (I do) the mod doesn't run, it's broken, if you let fusion update you can't play Serious Duke anymore, and if you rollback it doesn't even try to run it.

Quicky question how do I get the mod to run? I've tried every little thing and can't figure it out.

This mod seems to have crashes when playing it in co-op. Players joining and level transfers cause a CTD for the host.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING.
I grew up with DN3D and this captured it beautifully.

Hey so I was playing the game and I came across doors that are lock they don't need the red blue yellow keys they are just lock like how do you open these doors

When I'm hosting and playing on a multiplayer server with a friend, the server crashes when one of us enters the room after the arcade which requires the key card. The following link contains the crash logs: https://pastebin.com/8jdrLRmc

I will note that this crash doesn't occur in single player.

It simply won't work normally, so files hve to be unpacked after subscribing.

With blood textures I meant the overlay effect after blood spilling on bodies, not (only) the decals on limbs when dismembered.

It should be no problem to upload just the modified files as a workshop item. There's no need to reupload the whole Holywood Holocaust package (if that's what you mean).
Just make sure to include the mdl with the right folder structure, so it will replace the original ones.
Fusion always prioritizes the most recent workshop items. So If you upload a .gro that contains modified MDLs from Serious Duke, Fusion will always load these newer files instead of the original ones,

I'll look into adding additional blood textures on some gibs.
Can't remember which ones are lacking right now.

Cool, that sounds great!

Concerning the permanent gibs:
It is not possible for me to do this as an addional workshop here that can be added.
So for keep it working here, only thing that works is adding the changed .mdl files into your Hollywood holocaust map and upload it as an alternative one into workshop.
So if you want that and give me your approval, I could do that ;)

One last question:
Some enemies like pigcops don't seem to have wound decals. Are there any future plans in adding them?
