in the history urban cohorts were raised to flank vigiles just in the bigger city of the empire after Avgvstvs Reform .. they were the "police" of the city while vigiles where the flame 🔥 operators!

Great looking non historical mod- well done.

@Sonovabitch Yeah, i know its not historical, being based off their appreance in Rome: Total War. If I was going to make them historical they would most likely have standard legionairre armor; since to my knowledge they were picked the the standard legions similar to Praetorians.

it looks nice, but the lorica muscolata (armour with muscles on it) was way too expensive to be issued to the entire army. In fact it was so expensive that only the general or the emperor had it. really nice reskin, but very historically unaccurate. good job anyway

Is this stand-alone? or do you need the original?

Yeah, when I check mods for bugs I always replay the prologues, you can encouter the strangest bugs there for all the Total War games.

Fixed, some loose skin files were the cause. Thanks for catching that issue, haven't played the prologue in a while.

Thought you ought to know, this mod creates a bug in the prologue where Gaius Fulvius Silanus the main charater has no arms, just weapons floating.
