That was inspired from a miniature painting of her that I found on google, thought it looked cool.

@Acadian
Yea its an issue with the texture format. Nothing I can do about it with the current plugin tools.
Acadian 19. feb. 2018 kl. 14:14
do the cloak issues persist?
JFred  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2018 kl. 0:29
@你的毒瘤我的心
I think the shine/metallic look has to do with my graphic settings, I forgot to turn up the graphics when taking most of the screenshots. Additionally the lighting/angles of the maps can change how shiny/metallic a model looks.

As for changes, I'm not looking to do anything drastic to the versions of this mod that are currently uploaded. If you are looking for a more "sexy" version maybe you'd be interested in my Khalida Regenerated mod? That version has a purple cloak and gives her skin instead of the black wraps.

Besides, I don't like the blue shawl and skirt. If I change to purple or black or golden, it will be more pleasing to the eye. I think there should be some female players who like me and expect more new improvements.
Krobelus 6. feb. 2018 kl. 20:35
If bra is more shiny and metallic, it will be better. And if there is a sense of transparency in black stockings, is it okay? I'm looking forward to having a more sexy version.
Mr. PyroCrab 5. feb. 2018 kl. 18:05
Oh well, maybe someone will figure it out at some point.

@Mr. PyrocCrab
Unfortunately, no
Mr. PyroCrab 5. feb. 2018 kl. 12:16
I don't suppose there'd be anyway to fix her mask?
Antholeon 2. feb. 2018 kl. 11:33
Good work, I'm gonna be using this.

Cheers.

Updated the texture for the gems on her helmet
wanz 1. feb. 2018 kl. 13:12
@high queen Very sorry, I did read a lot of them. Looked at the pictures, but I missed that comment on page 2 asking same question.
JFred  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2018 kl. 13:08
@High Queen Khalida | Civ-9
The first one wouldn't be as doable since there really aren't any assets in game that I can play around with that sort of resemblance, outside of the staff and knife. The second photo reminds me a bit of the vampire heros, so I might be able to play around with those assets and see what I come up with. Still holding out hope that she will be a DLC, from what I understand her faction is already in the game.

@Wanz
Currently it is impossible to edit the mesh. I tried covering her face with the same texture as the ceramic mask but didn't like how it came out. However after seeing and liking how the gold mask looks, I may try and cover up the face with gold and see if that blends better than the ceramic

@wanz, please read the other coments
wanz 1. feb. 2018 kl. 12:51
Would it be hard to make the mask cover her entire face? I'm not sure how designing these reskins work.
JFred  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2018 kl. 10:56
Uploaded one more image of the WIP with the gold mask instead of ceramic.

@High Queen Khalida | Civ-9
Glad you approve! As for Neferata, I was basing this WIP Khalida on a concept of Neferata I saw online, if I can figure out how to remove the head model from the Khalida body, I could try replacing it with one of the sorceress heads and playing around with the texture to make it look like that particular artwork. The only person I've seen successfully remove the head model from a legendary lord is the person who made the Malekith restored mod. From what I understand it is a difficult process. Once I get this WIP khalida out of the way, and potentially a hero version, I'll set that as my next goal.
Rachel L 1. feb. 2018 kl. 10:40
@JFred, good work on making me look almost like before that traitress Neferata killed me.

Ps: Do you think you could make Neferata as custom LL (or the model at least, i know people who implement her if someone made her) ?
JFred  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2018 kl. 10:28
WIP shots updated. Tried making a full white mask, overriding the bandages, didn't like how it looked. Also tried the half skin look and it was a bit distracting, so I'm just going to go with the black bandages for half the face. Next I'll give it a try with the gold mask to see how that looks, and then the Khalida replacement version will be ready to upload. After that I'll start researching how I can make this version a hero unit for those (such as myself :p ) who are interested. Hopefully by game 3 we'll be able to edit meshes cause there's so much more I want to do with this.
FeralJim 31. jan. 2018 kl. 18:25
I really appreciate that you didn't just override us and remove the old mod, you've given us a choice! Thumbs up mate and kudos for inc Ghul in your shoutouts.
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 17:52
I've thrown up a couple WIP shots of the regenerated version. Still have some cleaning up for the body texture. Havne't tackled the head yet, still undecided on what I will try first. Might try to blend her face with the ceramic mask as someone suggested earlier and see how that looks. Also thinking of possibly making the regeneration version a dual blade melee hero like dark elf hag, or sword/staff mage like high elf.
Caesarea4 31. jan. 2018 kl. 8:19
Regarding whether to use bandage or the half regenerated option for the face I believe it all comes down personal preference, so whichever makes the face less stand out from the body/more alive looking.
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 7:12
Yea I wish it covered her whole face. Would make things easier.
Sky 31. jan. 2018 kl. 7:06
That sux dude that broken mask is the only thing i realy hate about khalida
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:58
@Skysight
I've tried, it clips through her half-mask.
Sky 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:54
Like this mod "Mask for Settra (updated)"
Sky 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:50
What if u give her a diffrent mask and re color that? That should be posible i have seen mods that give some normal units maks
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:46
@Skysight
Unfortunately I can't since there is no way to edit the mesh file.
Sky 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:38
I think u should duplicate the fixed half of the mask and replace the broken half with it if its posible
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:27
@Caesarea4
I know I can get the body done without any issues. Its just how I go about changing the head. Do I keep it wrapped in bandage or try to go for a half/mummy half regenerated Imhotep look? I'm open to suggestions.
JFred  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:23
I updated the porthole and unit card. Also toned down the whiteness of the mask to make it look a little more ceramic. Screenshots reflect the new change.
Caesarea4 31. jan. 2018 kl. 6:13
@JFred

That idea of a revived Khalida sounds interesting. I am curious how far is it possible to be made.

@The Popess | Civ-9

This is what I went with:

I've also been playing around with replacing the bandages with skin, referencing this image of Neferata, however what's stopping me is the inability to swap out her head model. I thought it might look weird having skin on everything but a bandage wrapped around her face. I could try reskinning some of her face, almost like the Mummy when he was still regenerating.

If you google "Khalida Warhammer" you can see some of the tabletop pictures and art that infuenced this mod. Originally I was looking to make a version like the image you linked, but I wasn't satisfied with how the lighter bandages looked in game. I did use that particular image for her staff however, as well as getting rid of the beads around her waist and helm/neck. I may give the lighter look another try, but I don't make any promises.

Idea for the black bandages on gold armor:

I may actually play around and see how that looks with the gold mask.

@Acadian
In short yes. After spending a few hours yesterday looking for solutions I came up empty. Apparently it's an issue with the file format. That being said I did come across an idea of solving the issue by disabling LODs for the model, since that seems to be what causes the glitch to appear in game. I'll be looking into how to do that when I get the time, hopefully it turns out to be a solution.
Rustic Clover 30. jan. 2018 kl. 21:05
Very nicely done!
Anri 30. jan. 2018 kl. 17:58

Rachel L 30. jan. 2018 kl. 17:58

Acadian 30. jan. 2018 kl. 17:11
do the cloak issues persist in this one also?
Rachel L 30. jan. 2018 kl. 16:28
Can we see the pics you used for reference?
