There seems to be a part that's physically impossible to get past without cheats. Try as I might, I just can't run that far up a wall.

*Correction on a detail about how platforming works for Hat Kid, you can't do multiple walljumps after an air dash. (ran out of characters lol)

This was one of the best challenge maps I've ever played. The atmosphere reminded me of Pandora drifts in Metroid. Most of the platforming difficulties were fair with execution being consistent with enough practice. Your maps (Like Ultra Silent & this one) without a doubt made me better at platforming.

As well as significantly improving my fundamental understanding how the engine works. Like how you can't wjump after an airdash.

The lighting aspects were pretty incredible along with the aesthetic of the map. It really makes the platforming feel like your exploring a new mysterious world. The end you get to when you reach the bookstore was awesome, you've really nailed the ambient atmosphere

Thanks for being inspiring with your works. It's very obvious the amount of work that went into this map and Ultra Silent.

And for those who want a more challenges check out all of Habboi's mods. I mean he was Dev LOL. So he must know something right?!

Shouldn't be. Game crashing cause of mods is hard to work out. Usually it's because you have too many mods installed or another mods conflicting. It's out of our hands in that regard.

Your comment is fine my dude. To that I can only say you're not at the skill level this level is designed for. There's a group of us that find this stuff super easy and who it is designed for. If you wanna fully understand Hats platforming mechanics to the max I recommend some of my earlier work, White Tower Forest which even trained our community manager to improve by a lot.

Beyond that you don't have to quote Jonas to me haha, I work with him everyday :P

I'm sorry if this sounds very rude and insulting but...
It's insane. This was the first mod I gave up.
I have encountered a lot of precision requires far platform gaps, where I quited at wall to wall gap. A streamer above had managed to jump off from narrow timed unstable platform to that far wall and took grasp on it. I have tried to replicate the action above but to no avail as of now. The concerning things is the narrow timed unstable platform, how should we land exactly at the corner at the last platform to jump, and how far from that platform to the wall.

I suggest you add an easiner.

Easiner. Makes the gameplay a little easier by re-allowing stuffs and stuffs.

Remember what Jonas says on interview.
Yet people goals for the finish line, he assumes people going to get bored if they have to finish 39 time pieces before the final battle, and not everybody will be intrigued to this A Hat in Time. So he decided to set minimum for the final boss Mustache Girl, 26 Time piece to unlock.
Basically, it is Minimum experience rule.
But you should know what inspiration you can get.

C'mon. I know, you are a modder recognized for things like to calculate the furthest platform gap character can handle. Cool and good. Duper Awesome!!! Filled with novel elements!
But yeah. Please don't make people infuriated. I believe, that GfB made this game for something quite addicting, fun, enjoyable, appropriately leveled, challenging, and yeah.

Yet still I haven't used any offensive words towards you or your work. "should" is used correctly since this is how maps are usually categorized. The emoticon at the end of the sentence shows my disappointment towards the map, but the fact I expected more than I've got doesn't mean it was totally bad.

And wording is very important. Your comment came across as incredibly rude. As I said opinions are perfectly fine and acceptable, please voice them but don't comment like it's fact. "Should" can be changed to "could" and suddenly the comment is a lot more respectful. On top of :/ coming across as dickish as well. Then I would have told you, thank you for your feedback, while I disagree with the idea that platforming maps should be limited to blue rifts, I respect your feedback. Additionally this isn't a casual platforming map, it is a challenge map that can take players up to 11 hours to beat but it also continues the story of the Moleman ARG and thus does indeed contain story and narrative.

That's all I have issue with.

I don't disrespect your map. I've never said it's bad. I just gave people summary of what is it like.
I can understand your anger. You put a lot work in this, but you have to face the fact that not everyone may give you good opinion. This is how commenting works.

Well, I finally manged to complete all the Timmy Day levels. Pretty good stuff. Only part that was actually ridiculous was the falling platform section in Peaceful Tides. Somehow got through it though. And Eternal Darkness was pretty funny with the skybox darkness mechanic

Your level made me rage quit on accident... I get that it's for the challenge but I didn't expect that first tbh. I thought it would move from story point to stroy point with some laidback gameplay in between. Instead of that I've spend literally 2 hours getting through this hell of a level and I'm not even done yet.

The RNG with the cogs is BS and though I like thet dark aesthetic it fucks with the depth perception really hard which was on purpuse I presume. I've screamed into a pillow I was so angry at this level and my accidental quit. And the white spider/ball and pitch black bounce balls can fuck right of.

On another note, there's a mod that gives you a light bulp that you can carry around that also is a light source and explodes when it hits the ground after dropping or throwing it. I thought I mention it since there's some really fun potential in a mod specific level for that.

The level is LITERALLY impossible. When you get to third area, before the first checkpoint checkpoint, theres no platform to jump onto to progress.

If youre up for a challenge this is it. It's long, it's hard, and it's great, and I gave up. Some sections are so long between checkpoints and some are filled with such BS I couldnt do it. Based off the stream I only made it like half way which saddens me but not enough to try to finish it.

Whelp, nevermind. I ghosted my way through the level, and I realized that I'm just not good enough to take it on. You have a much more skilled player than me in mind - and that's great!

I take back my comment asking for more checkpoints... Keep on making excellent levels for the players you know can handle them.

I love the atmosphere in this level, but I'm having a hard time with the platforming. Can you please add more checkpoints? I'd really appreciate being able to attempt each of the more precise jumps over and over again instead of having to spend ~5 minutes getting back to them for each attempt.

Unfortunately, the tedium of redoing parts of the level ruins the creepy atmosphere that the rest of the level builds up for me :/

It's mostly because my previous levels teach you a lot of the mechanics needed. It's honestly quite simple once you get the hang of her movement. You wouldn't think there's a lot involved since all she can do is jump and dive and a single or double jump into a wall can change a lot.

...40 minutes average??? Most of the time I took was figuring out how to bypass tricky jumps and this average seems like people either ghosted when they got sick of a segment or were gods at the game...or practiced alot.

Alright I ended up finishing the map after about 8-9 hours of time. I've managed to also stream it but it's not like anyone cares about that, especially with all the breaks I took during it. Overall while the map's length kept stressing me out the concepts that the map takes advantage of are truely intriguing.

At the spinning tower, once I reach the highest platform I reach a jump I just can't seem to clear. Am I missing a platform or jump that makes it possible?

While the level as a whole was an amazing platforming challenge, there is 1 VERY fatal flaw that ruined the whole thing in my opinion, Dark colored bounce objects in a pitch black level made it outright AGGRIVATING trying to make it past the sections where you need to bounce on multiples of them, mainly due to the fact that it was next to impossible to tell where they were in the air, as a result most of my falls were due to not knowing where I was supposed to land which made the difficulty feel more like a test of patience and trial and error than a test of skill.

How do I get up that long wall with the platform to the side of it after bouncing across the three orbs and climbing up the platforms past the second rounded area?

I've tried climbing up the side of the wall by double jumping and using the dive move to get to the side of the wall and run up it a bit, but I'm always either too low to catch it, or miss it because I'm not far enough in and pass by the side of the ledge.

I'm either missing something or just can't figure out the timing.

The platforming before that part isn't difficult and I can get through it 90% of the time. I've got all the timing and jumps to get back there down cold, but am frankly just sick of doing it over and over.

There really needs to be another checkpoint between that platform and this section. It's not any harder getting back to that point, just time consuming and irritating.
