Hands down dangerous light attack ship, especially with a few modifications. If you increase it's power a bit and mount an Atlas in the front it you become a Tarantula Hawk in Space. Been using it for years, and will continue to do so. <3

I have to say this is one of my favorite ships to use in survival for combat and recon.

Small but deadly!

My friends that I play SE with are horrified of this ship and what horrors this ships front face can hide in it. I also replaced all light armor blocks with heavy armor blocks and replace a lot of the interior with batteries for a little longer back up power and harder to kill

@Whitey Tighty That is a wonderful bug I get often where no blueprints show up. I reccomned just restarting the game or re-subing to the ship

@Dempsey, I encase engineering, the CIC, and decoy compartments in heavy armor, which allows my ship to survive quite a long time in battle.

@ Lt.Starbound finding that balance between manueverability and survivability is a challenge for me. I bet that it would be able to survive, but even with heavy armor that poor manuevering could prove harmful. With my ships I try very hard to ensure that they have overlapping fire arcs, and armor is broken up into schemes.

@K_medlock. Very true and i have seen many an interesting forum discussion for the classification thereof. I read your guide too and it was rather entertaining. I personally have a bit of Naval history and the classification of ships has always been quite interesting to me. It would be great to have the community come together and agree as to tonnage and classifications for ships.

@Dempsey Weal everyvody classifies their ships differently. Ultimately it's up to you ;)

@shadowwallen No I have not created a ship solely out of heavy armor, but some of my older ships feature heavy armor more extensively. I could make some, but they would be even worse at speed and maneuverability... Would however only keep it corvette or frigate sized... I'll have to see mate, if I'll ever build one...

@Dempsey, probably. I can't believe how much heavy armor he put on the thing, it is about as manuverable as my destroyer! I bet it does really well in a fight on account of all that armor though.

@14CandyLand88 Well this is a corvette. Corvettes are usually lightly armored and dont really have a hangar. The larger ships will be released soon and they will have more armor and bigger guns.

I prefer some dual guns and more armor and hangar for planes or fighters
