I haven't touched unturned in a while and it looks like they've changed things since ive last done it. It used to be you just download the mod on your end and paste it into you server mod files (assuming you have other mods downloaded) and add the Id to the mod list. It may work with the ID downloader. Lmk what works for you.

Thank you for the response, I got it working now I must've had something wrong. :D

I just tested this on SP and its still working fine on SP. Make sure you have all the items, make sure your looking under apparel, and make sure you have the correct amount of skills required. The one I tested was the Tourist Backpack

TBH i have not touch unturned in a very long time. I can take a look at it when i get a chance but its been almost 2 years since ive updated this.

I added this mod to my server but the craft never shows up/doesn't work, yet I can still spawn in the item. How do I get the craft to work?

My server was down, its in the process of coming back up. Ill post it above, but it wont be up until Monday.

They come in the mod. They need to be added to the spawn points or youll have to hand them out.

does the sewing kits come with the mod and do they spawn naturally?

They indeed all work. Ive been using it on my server for a while now.
