You might consider leaving the trails on the controlling player's screen, so the controlling player can see which unit is targeted.

Isn't artillary going to be overpowered now?

@wittmann : I haven't touched AI files, so no, AI will still know where you're shooting from
Jakob 24 Jan, 2018 @ 9:35am
Does this mod stop AI from knowing where my artillery is shooting from?
Sogram  [author] 24 Jan, 2018 @ 9:03am
@Pupniks : True it's harder! If you use a headset (no music during the game) you can locate the area where the firing sound is coming from - a bit like what was done during WW2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artillery_sound_ranging - then you can see the flash.

Black Hand good bless you, this is perfect now. I've wanted this mod since SD launched, and you have answered my prayers!

Ok, Thanks.

@Oliver : it can be included but it's up to Storm in the West mod devs if they want it or not
Sogram  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 1:18pm
@Uncle_Uzi : but there is a solution ;)
𝕲𝖑𝖆𝖘 21 Jan, 2018 @ 11:53am
Is it possible to make it compatible with the Storm in the West mod?
Sogram  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 7:10am
@Sir Robert : No it's not, a tracer doesn't leave a smoke trail like a rocket.. Why removing it? Look below.

@Uncle_Uzi : because compatibility between mods isn't very well managed.. :/
Sir Robert 21 Jan, 2018 @ 4:35am
thats called a tracer, and why remove it?
Uncle_Uzi 19 Jan, 2018 @ 6:21pm
Why is this not compatible with the no glow mods?
Sogram  [author] 19 Jan, 2018 @ 4:31pm
Thx!
Kikibreeki 19 Jan, 2018 @ 3:49pm
really nice touch

@123BUD : For a more immersive experience. Such trails do not exist at all in real life. This is just a way for the player to easily distinguish which unit is targeted.
It does also mean that the player will have slightly harder time finding which ennemy units are attacking his own, which is interesting ^^

why tho?
