Your sun is pointed the wrong way! Look at your comparison screenshots, in the original the sun was pointed in the opposite direction.

Okay, so now I've actually downloaded the map. Here be some handy dandy feedback:

Oh, also, when I tried playing this map with bots my game crashed. Although I do use a couple of mods, so that might just be me.

I think it would've worked better if you had made it a CTF map like how Badlands was in TFC, rather than trying to cram the 5cp gamemode onto a map that isn't built for it. But for what it is, this is spectacularly well done.

found the hint and i love the art design has the rough badlands theme of TFC but the cartoonishness of TF2 in one map

damn this is awesome. a few months back i was going over old TF2 concept art and thinking to myself that it would be really nice to play through a map like this. it has so much character, along with all of the other super early maps. i definitely prefer this aesthetic over the current badlands.

Place the command "nav_generate" (without quotes) in your console, Jaiden. It will generate a nav mesh so that the bots move around and act normal.

OK, I don't know if this is just me or if it's the map but whenever I spawn bots, they don't move. They just sit in spawn. Medics heal people and enemies turn to face you after you win, but they don't move. Any help?

You've got a lot of strange lighting issues with some small rooms appearing nearly full bright, some models leaving nonsensical shadows in displacements, and more than a few models covered in shadow for no good reason. In tandem with the model issues, a lot of them feel slapped on and jut out in strange ways, leaving cracks and exposed nodraw pieces all over. Not to mention with some parts of the map being directly ripped out of other maps (notably you can see 2forts outside the intel area in some background rooms) and last being directly copied out of badlands (not actually that bad given the map, but you had the opportunity to try something new and didnt which is a shame)

Given some more time and patience a lot of these lighting and weird model issues could be fixed, but as is the map just feels choppy and off. Neat idea, poor execution in the end.

Honestly with the effort you put into this project with copy+pasting and brushing it up a little then making something from a few pictures you could have made a whole new map instead. Same with when you took ff_monkey's vmf and edited it, you could have made something new. And at least indeed as said below you should actually credit stuff instead of making it sound like you made it all from scratch, which also went for the ff_monkey TF2-ified, it's not being inspired by, it's editing. Different. :/

I love this so much. It's so pretty and cool and I just love it. If you redid the last point into something else and changed up little things here and there, you could probably make this an entirly new map, which I'd love to have in-game. It's just so cool!

@Bozz problem is, the map is already scratching Hammer's limits alot, so I had to reduce quality in some areas.. unfortenatly lighting was one of the areas. The map sometimes just outright crashed whilst in testing. Anyhow, I'm looking into that to improve lighting in some areas. Thank you:ghlol:

I'm here before this map explodes and becomes popular... just remember this moment. Jokes aside, great job on the map. Only feedback would be to work on the lighting. In my opinion it's a bit too bright for my liking. Maybe have some shadows or something or some dark areas so it looks real.
