will it work on 1.49?
Ghastous™ 10. jan. 2023 kl. 10:53
Tested on new profile without JBX and worked fine so yes JBX is not compatible with this mod as it will make night time come way to early then it should
Ghastous™ 10. jan. 2023 kl. 10:35
yeh i use JBX so i belive that is what makes this mod not work correctly. Its in the correct load order but doesnt work and same goes for all ur other time mods
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 10. jan. 2023 kl. 10:22
If it still does not work, the other mod is doing something incredibly weird.
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 10. jan. 2023 kl. 10:21
Follow the load order. This mod must be above any other mods that change graphics, timezones, etc.
Ghastous™ 10. jan. 2023 kl. 10:21
I have done and still don’t work
Ghastous™ 10. jan. 2023 kl. 9:12

Ok thank you!
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2020 kl. 1:59
Yes. These mods are extremely unlikely to ever break.
jwstcyr 4. sep. 2020 kl. 16:44
does it work for 1.38?
pirs 29. mar. 2020 kl. 15:39

Alright. Thank you !
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2019 kl. 4:32
Yup, works with 1.34 without needing an update.
MichaelD! 1978 29. mar. 2019 kl. 19:20
1.34 playable ?
Acela944 1. dec. 2018 kl. 13:48
Then I guess SCS has a lot to work on because I'm positive the sun irl doesn't set so early even in the southern-most United States.
Acela944 1. dec. 2018 kl. 13:47
Oh ok.
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 26. nov. 2018 kl. 6:52
@Acela944 fun fact: you can't actually set sunset or sunrise in ETS2 or ATS. All you can do is give it a day of the year, and the game will determine approximate day times depending on where you are on the map.

If you mainly drive in the southern parts of California or the other southern states, days will still be pretty long, but if you go all the way to the north of Oregon days will be shorter.
Acela944 25. nov. 2018 kl. 18:42
This mod says shortest day but it seems that the sun doesn't set completely until around 5:30 PM and doesn't get completely dark until 7 PM. In real life the sun would set at around 4 PM and completely dark at 5:30 PM. Maybe update this mod so the sun sets earlier please.

Erbkaiser, I can't even begin to desribe how happy I am with this mod! I've always loved driving at night and before I found your mod I had to sleep on a parking 2 times until the night comes.
What I'm saying is - a BIG, HUGE thank you for making this mod! :steamhappy:

Back in older verson of ATS, I had it made always night but I'm not sure what are the properties now. Back then I was able to set the night forever by disabling sunrises. How? By setting sunrise and set to happen at the same time in the specific time profile which caused the day to last 3 hours only. The rest of the 21 hours were night. But idk whether this is possible now in 1.32.
rado84 25. okt. 2018 kl. 18:10
I don't play ETS2, so idk what it is like there. I play ATS with C2C map.
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 25. okt. 2018 kl. 4:25
@Lexx that is this mod. Shortest day = longest possible night.

ETS2 does not have a setting for X daylight hours, it has a 'day of the year' setting. This mod changes the day of the year from the longest day, which is the game default, to the shortest day.
If you drive in the northern parts of the map (Scandinavia) you will have almost no daylight - just like in real life. If you drive in Italy, the day will be longer but still shorter than it would be in mid summer.
rado84 24. okt. 2018 kl. 22:13
Well, I suppose you could make a separate mod where the night is the longest possible, like 20-21 hours and the day is the remaining time till 24 hours.
MJ 23. okt. 2018 kl. 23:15
@Erbkaiser Ah, I see. Thanks.
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 23. okt. 2018 kl. 13:52
Not possible, there is no day in the year for that.
MJ 23. okt. 2018 kl. 13:33
Can you please make a always night time mod?
rado84 15. okt. 2018 kl. 12:16
Ah, great then! Thanks for answering. :)
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 15. okt. 2018 kl. 12:15
This will still work in 1.32. The property hasn't been changed.
rado84 15. okt. 2018 kl. 12:14
Can you update it for 1.32, pls? I've been looking for such a mod for quite some time but 1.32 introduced many changes and nothing I can find seems to work.
Tucktank 19. jan. 2018 kl. 17:53
im in new mexico
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 19. jan. 2018 kl. 13:54
Depends on where in the US you are, for LA California it will be around quarter to five, in New Mexico it will be almost 5pm.
Tucktank 19. jan. 2018 kl. 11:57
what time does the sun set in this mod
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 15. jan. 2018 kl. 1:41
No idea what the frost mod changes but as long as it does not touch the single file I edit, it should work together. If it does change it, my mod MUST have higher priority for it to work.
Tucktank 13. jan. 2018 kl. 13:13
is this compatible with frost mod for ats
Erbkaiser  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. 2018 kl. 6:48
No change needed for 1.30.
