Thank you DomTrain for your interest!

I'm still not sure if I will just convert or completely overhaul it. I think I will try the converted EMU in TPF2 and see if the quality still meets my standards.

Domtrain, will you be porting this to TPF2 or willing to let a modder port it for you? We desperatly need Aussie stuff for TPF2 cheers

So excited that i finally onlocked the red rattlers and then the cockpit view is broken...oh well still love it maybe when you get the time to turn the engine around but no hurry :)

Beautiful train, hoping you'll add more of the Sydney rail fleet once you have time!

Thanks for the report, but this problem is already known, I'm very sorry for that issue. The problem is that I built the leading car the wrong way round and it would have been a pain to turn it around manually. :( I hope you can live without it, but it would be pretty much work to fix this.

There are no further Australian mods planned yet, sorry.

Future plans:

- Uploading all my existing mods (all of them are from Austria, but they are very nice ;) )
- Finishing my giant metre-gauge-project (more than 20 vehicles)
- 1980s Austrian omnibus
- And then we'll see...

HI Domtrain,

I tested this mod, its great only one thing i point out, the camera view you can only see the carriages, sorry i thought let you know, otherwise its very realistic, the sound is great and the livery too.

Thanks

Tony

I remember these from when I lived in Sydney in the late 70's. You have done a great job modelling them, thank you. If you take requests :) , I am really wanting the Adelaide "Red Hen" suburban train, Adelaide "Glenelg Tram" and coaches from both the "Overland" and the "Indian Pacific". I have been trying to learn how to convert them from Trainz 12, where there are good models of them, but have not had much luck yet. Would be awesome to have more Australian content in TpF, Thanks again for you great work....

The doors were handle opened and slid open and closed. Looking back it was bloody dangerous but surprsingly there wasnt many accidents. people knew if you lent out youd get killed. We had much more common sense back then. Besides no Air con just roof top air vents and sliding windows that opened a few cms, whoever designed those windows should have been shot, so the doors staying open was wonderful

Of course they did have doors - but you could open and close them as you liked, there was no mechanism which kept the doors locked while driving. In the summertime when it was hot, the passengers preferred to keep the doors open for ventilation. This was very typical for these trains, you can also see that on YouTube. ;)
Tsass 6. jan. 2018 kl. 1:58
@Stena Britannica No that is correct, they didn't
Tsass 6. jan. 2018 kl. 1:57
Awesome as mate - love them
Dell Conagher 6. jan. 2018 kl. 1:25
Hang on... this DIDN'T have doors!? How dangerous!

I have some items from the transport fever community mods, and this is one of em, so, too late for me to subscribe to this, (Tutorial) If you want to add a mod to your game, and you don't know how, then these are just simple steps, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Transport Fever\mods, download the item you want from the mod section, don't put in the zip file, but the name of the mod into the mods folder, and that's it.

YES!!!! Thank you!! I remember riding on red rattlers to and from school sitting in the doors and keeping it open with my foot. HUGE THANK YOU!!!
