I've had one of these in hisgh school JROTC before. It was the beef roast with vegetables menu. I had it cold because I didn't have water for the flameless ration heater at the time and it was surprisingly good. It had real strips of beef! My JROTC instructor called MREs "Meals Rejected by Ethiopians" lmao.
